  1. Who should really Boycott on Would a Boycott of the MPAA/RIAA Help Matters? · · Score: 1

It isn't just us, the consumers who should support a boycott, but also the artists and actors who should be convinced to STOP WORKING with the members of the MPAA and RIAA. Alot of them say on websites that new artists and actors get shit on while the established acts just get more and more money. And it does cost the new acts. Its like George Ziemann says in his article here http://www.azoz.com/music/features/0008.html that the majority of releases make nothing and the others are what make profits. And i think his idea is good, that new artists should boycott the record companies in favor of having control of their own music. Cause Metallica may make great music, and may even own, but they don't have control of it and THAT is why the RIAA was formed. To protect Big Corps control of artists music!

  2. Re:Used CD/DVD stores in Chicago on RIAA Now Targeting Retailers · · Score: 1

Not that i am for asking for info from cash customers or anything, but they actually have a legitimate excuse. I certanly agree with the idea of being contacted by them in the event of a food recall (read *POISONED FOOD*). Most cases, its only an excuse to collect info for marketing purposes, but its nice (for them)to have a defense against lawsuits. "We tried to contact you about the anthrax in your hamburger, but your number didn't work" Course, that only works *if* they call!

  3. Hopefully good news for some.... on AOL Wins Anti-Spam Case · · Score: 1

Maybe this will help keep AOHell from laying off as many people as they were. Though I doubt it. But hooray to them for helping to kill SPAM!!

Now if only they'd stop spending so much on Shooting Targets, Paint Pallette's, Coasters, and Non-Recyclable TIN CASES they might be able to stop firing people and even show a profit!

  4. Re:Not aimed at KIDS ... on Miyamoto vs. Everyone Else · · Score: 1

Well, if you look at it from the other side of the looking glass, you can see alot of influence from here. Its just a kind of New York spin on Alice in Wonderland. No mirror, but icky sewers with who knows what lurking within. The main problem is that the Bros left the sewer.

You can take the Bros out of the sewers, but they're still from Baddest place on the Planet. With a little luck, they may get back to the nasty soon and the hell with Princesses and Reptilian Megalomaniacs!

  6. I don't know about you.... on FBI To Use Ad Banners to Find Criminals · · Score: 1

But everyone is now talking about terrorism in relation to this thread. Do people finally realize that terrorism is more than what makes the news? That its not only about blowing up buildings full of children, or driving a busload of chemical weapons into the heart of a city, but also is keeping a neighborhood or town or city in fear of you or your organization. That its about taking away the freedom to live in peace with those around us. I know it sounds off topic, but this is something I have grown sick of seeing in the media. They say America has finally joined the international community of countries to experience terrorism, but they don't realise we've been fighting it all along at home! Look at gang wars and you see multiple factions destroying property and lives for their "cause"! But because they don't fight for religion or against gov't, it wasn't "terrorism" it was just crime. I am sorry to have ranted for so long, but i do invite comment cause I want to know if anyone else feels the same. And one last thing, if pop-up killers are only used by criminals, why are they commercially available?
