A simple search on everyone's favorite search engine would have lead them to this CNN article dated April First. Of course, one need merely think about it really really hard to realize that spontaneous combustion and April Fools go together like baseball and apple pie. That would be cricket and guiness for our UK friends.

Did you put this response into every subtitle for this topic, or what? Troll bating.

It may take a century or two to be useful, but if Mars was once "livable", it's easier to live on, I would think.

If I recall correctly, this is how the English populated Australia. I think we should just fill the Moon and Mars with thieving punk skater kids. Dadnabit.

I have the same question....perhaps we should be saying "most weasly"? But I don't want to be pegged as a grammar weasle.

Excellent AskSlashdot question. There's more to open source than access to source code. I for one would love to glean the best reason why people aren't switching, and work on the project that would obviate their complaints.

  11. Commercial Logos edited? on Photographer Fired For Digitally Altering Photo · · Score: 1

Has anyone else noticed any commerical signs and logos being edited during war coverage? Specificly, I am very sure I saw a reporter giving his story while standing in from of a truck clearly labeled ITSUBISHI . Am I crazy or did they clean out the "M"? Unfortunately I don't recall the particular news outlet.

We just had our party this Friday. Sad to say, not many from the tech realm showed up. Regardless...we all got gold-plated at-a-boys. Which is to say, nothing. If you don't really want that bobble head...it'd look good under my tree? Whatya say?
