  2. If you mean "different OSes" then say so. I use Android devices with Nougat, Marshmallow and Kitkat all the time and I don't have to change the way I use them. They're all the same. There are minor changes to appearance and the newer ones have some stuff I never use (multiple windows..on a 5 inch screen? great. Power saving - I charge them when I need to, in the evening, so it just means plugging something in every 2 days instead of every day). Which apps can I not use on Kitkat? They all seem to work for me.

You're new to this, aren't you? Yeah, you might find an exploit randomly, while chatting to a mate, and think "yeah, i'll tell snapchat i was chatting to someone and the app revealed a backdoor and i could access anyone else's chats". Sort of like if you find a million dollars you hand it in and get $1000 in return, for being honest?

No. They want people to tell them about flaws they've found when they've reversed the app, watched the traffic with wireshark and managed to pinpoint exactly what's happening and why. That's what's not worth the money. They're just not competitive.

  13. You're special. Most people don't give a shit if the app they use makes a note of where they are more accurately than they need to. Because the phone already knows exactly where you are, and people know this, and they assume the information is available. If they gave a shit they'd not use smartphones, or they'd be more careful.

They've not convinced themselves; their job is to make money from popular films, and some body shapes are more popular than others. People associate fat with less attractive and lazy. If the producers routinely and non-ironically cast overweight people all the time they'd be less successful. Do you seriously think that, to pick a random example, Bond movies would have been more popular if, instead of, say, Ursula Andress climbing out of the sea we were confronted with the likes of Beth Ditto or Roseanne Barr? All things being equal (acting ability, charisma, charm, ability to ad-lib) there's no advantage to being overweight and, I'm sorry to say, the stigma will never go away because everyone knows that if you really want to lose weight it's just not that hard.
