SCEE is eager to point out that that it has been working very closely with several children's charities in order to ensure that EyeToy: Chat is safe for even the youngest PS2 fans to enjoy. New Chat users will be required to register and verify their details at PlayStation Net. There will be a number of strict safety measures and chat room moderators in place when the service launches this summer.
In other words, it won't be any fun, and nobody over the age of 12 is going to buy this.
This almost makes me feel a little outdated. I think I'm the only one left that has a normal cell phone. No gadgets except a couple crappy games, an alarm clock, and the phone itself. I've never thought you needed anything other than a phone when you bought a cell phone.
Does this mean I'll have to hand in my geek T-shirt?
"...and a graphics processor that runs three times faster than those on the market today.'"
Usually, Macs are touted as the premier computer to use for graphics processing, so of course it would be in Microsoft's best interests to try and change that perception.
To be honest, I really don't care, as a future graphic designer/3d animator, I'll use whatever gives me the shortest render times, since I don't have a network to help out.
Tribes 2 was the first game where I saw vehicular combat combined with the regular 1st-person combat style. Anyone who's a fan of Unreal Tournament 2004 should enjoy this one, and why not? It's something you don't have to shell out 40 bucks for!
Verizon appealed the court's decision because it opens the door for anyone who makes a mere allegation of copyright infringement to gain complete access to private subscriber information without the due process protections afforded by the courts.
They don't condone piracy, but they want to cover their customers in case of abuse. It's a very reasonable position and it makes me glad I'm a Verizon customer(though actually they are the only broadband availiable in my area).
I say the next development in DDR should be realism! Possible enhancmements include:
-Stick-o-matic floor to simulate drink spillings -Automatic overpriced watered-down drink vending machine -The Claustrophobinator(tm), a modification that brings down a heated padded wall to simulate crowd proximity -Long bathroom lines
The Terminator goes back in time and tries to stop James Cameron from making any more movies, but instead kills Jerry Bruckenheimer and Michael Bay in the process.
The film will be labeled a comedy because of this.
Maybe so, but how bad you want to keep confidential information secure is proportional to how much money it's going to cost to do so. Most businesses can't even afford(or don't have the need) to upgrade from Windows 98, let alone something like this.
Any potential buyers might want to focus on spending that money where it matters and run your business more effectively.
It'll be really "piratical" when it can be found on Bit Torrent.

Yeah, I guess I'm waiting until they develop phones that allow you to boot people in the ass over long distances.
Reach out and touch someone indeed.

I don't think this is an issue of technology as much as it is an issue of teachers needing to pay attention to their damn students.
From Verizon's news page, and I quote:

Hello Verizon.
They seem to be the only one standing up for their customers' rights.
I switched from some murky client which didn't exactly have a bright outlook regarding spam
That's geekspeak for Outlook Express, if I remember.
