When talking in legal terms ( US legal, in this case ) then you need to look at the current legal definition of the words you are using. Not many English-speaking people would argue over the work "is", but Bill Clinto still asked the court to define it during his impeachment trial for legal reasons.Theft, stealing, and piracy all imply the removal of property from someone's possession, and decoding signals transmitted into your home does not correlate with that at all.

I've been looking for something like this that accomodates 4 tower PC cases and has a ( quiet ) fan on top and bottom of the cabinet for air flow. That would give you some of the benefits of an equipment rack, but let you keep the PC's in standard cases, unless you really don't want to keep them that way.

My plan was to eliminate the spreadsheets and centralize the data into a single SQL Server 2000 supported database, adn then make a web base front end for data entry and reporting. Instead, I was told to deal with the databases and spreadsheets, not to automate it 'too much', and I totally regret agreeing to take on the project.

This is all very general, but as a U.S. Citizen looking at it from a Constitutional/'U.S. Government serves the best interests of the U.S. citizens' perspective, I believe outsourcing all ( or the majority of ) industries that deal with information and knowledge management, is a bad thing. Think of it as the U.S. outsourcing the CIA/FBI to Russia during the Cold War. Or better yet, missile production, do you really want to lose control of such functions?

I agree with you here, too. Separation of church and state is a good thing. On the otherhand, it can be difficult for a single society to adopt rules that support all religions/philosophies. Take for example that the Muslim equivalent of the Baptist Christian Sunday or the Jewish/Catholic Saturday falls on Friday, but the standard work week/weekend structure accommodates the latter two but not the former's need to have that appropriate day off from work. Wonder why it's that way? Wonder why stores close early on Sunday ( though this has changed considerably during my life, with more stores staying open/open later on this day ). I think it has it's roots in religion, not any law or other source. Someone correct me if you know otherwise.

Also some external customers and business we work with also send template or rough draft documents to our employee in the form of PDF's, and they expect the same format back in return.
