Fallout 2 was a fantastic game, and I really enjoyed playing through it. The one thing that really spoiled it for me though, was all of the glitches. I'm talking game essential items endlessly replicating and then disappearing here, and many other equally game-destroying things. Add this to the patches that, in my case, removed some glitches but added others (Yes I did install the correct patch) and you have quite a mess on your hands.
I'll be looking forward to Fallout 3, but this time, I hope Black Isle take the time to remove the bugs!
Does anyone remmber Pepsiman? I never played the game, or heard much about it, but apparently you played as a superhero whose powers come from pepsi, on a mission to get, er, more pepsi. Basically the game was a big ad, but I hear it was quite fun.
The problem with top 100 lists is they rate the games using opinions, rather than a true scientific method. Thus, to establish a true top 100 list, games must be rated using the only scientific method available - how long it takes to see the first crate!
Ahh, Hunt the Wumpus. That was a fairly interesting game. You were stuck in a maze, in which every room ahd three exits. Being in the same room as the whumpus killed you, so to beat it you had to find the room next to it, and shoot an arrow in the right directioon (You knew you were adjacent, but never which direction) Incidentillay, the whumpus was some kind of animal/beast type thing.
I remember ereading in a book discussing programming games for some old apple computer a description of suggestions for games. There was one in which you had to defeat a wizard, which was identical to the game.

I guess it's just one of the many wonders of beaurocracy.
