You're right. Some sysadmins expect to do no work and have security handed to them -- that's not gonna happen. I was merely trying to point out that Microsoft should do better work on their servers, and try to make sure that stupid admins don't have that much work.
Look at the price difference. Sony charges much more for an LCD than a CRT. Obviously they make more money on LCDs than CRTs, so why not take the CRTs right out of the picture?
so it's not really free, you're gonna have to pay for the hardware. I think this is a great idea, so let's just say the hardware's gonna be $79. Combined with the price of the XBox, that's $279. Still cheaper than most PVRs, but the drawbacks are that you're gonna have to fiddle, and the space is limited, and how is it going to get the TV guides without paying?
FYI, i didn't say only twice as many, I said at least twice as many. Maybe before you flame someone you should make sure to thoroughly read their post. Also, how do you expect statistics on pirated versions of Windows? The Walmart computers aren't EXTREMELY cheap, compared to what you can get on TigerDirect.

Like Tivo, Roomba is one of those marvelous technologies that makes you wonder how you ever lived without one. We are not affiliated with iRobot; however, if you don't own one yet, we recommend you get one now. One of the most frequent questions that I get from people is, "does it really clean?". Yes, and it does with grace. We praise their engineers for their cleverness and ingenuity that shall become self evident through the following pages.
It is a good idea to clean your Roomba before you start. After some trial and error we came up with the following procedure.
1: Turn off the robot.
2: Remove the Particle Bin, Vacuum Filter Door and Battery.
3: Remove the main Brush roller mechanism.
4: Remove the following screws. image
5: Turn the robot over as one piece.
6: Slide off the top cover to reveal the control cable.
7: Disconnect the control cable from the motherboard and remove the top cover.

But, I'm living without BOTH of them now. What am I, rich? (and yes i do have a job, to all the asshats who would have posted "LOL!!!!!1111!! LMFAO!!!!1111!!one! u dont h4v3 a j0b!!!1!11111"
how long will it be until some brainy kid takes the robotics out of this, hooks it up with an electric lawn mower, and DOMINATES the lawn-mowing business in his neighborhood? Wait, that's a good idea

microsoft can't even secure their own servers? How can we expect their OS's to run securely on our servers?
why would they use online voting when they could simply use chad-laden punch cards??
If I had that cash, I'd get me one of these. W00T! 213' personal luxury submarine!

As I learned in biology, the hydra has no brain. What an interesting metaphor for the RIAA.

From the beta page:Will you donate money to be beta tester?
In a word? No. Good idea by the developers to make some side change though.

then why is their site still up and running? in fact, here is the link for the modchip.
Note: There will be a need to purchase a hardware add-on for video input since the Xbox gaming console does not currently have video inputs etc.
Where is one supposed to get this add-on?
i'd bet money that original playstation outsold XBox in terms of total sales in the US, too. Not in the last year, mind you, but overall.
... the main ftp server gets Slashdotted, here are some mirrors.

If Lindows is so popular, why do at least twice as many people use Red Hat?
so looks like Lindows is pulling an Athens and going Delian League on the other OS's.
