    Sounds like another anti-trust case. I will be putting Unbuntu on my next machine and if I can't do it I will be asking for my money back and getting pi, though I might getting a pi anyway as they are much cheaper than a 'nomal laptop / netook'.

    Which bank could you give your money to and still the bank will still have it in 2,000 years. Put our money in the a whole in the ground it will still be there in a couple of millenniumâ(TM)s later.

    I don't know why people call these palm computers a phone, its only a small part of its function. Its a camera, a mp3 player, a picture store, a video camera, word processor, to name a very few. Before this all these function were carried out by other machines which were often not very portable or another human.

    In the UK it is illegal to monitor a person priate converstaion on the phone, unless you have a judges authority. Also it's against Human Rights. Maybe Talk-Talk customsers should report them to the police.

    'Can you reboot?' - 15 mins later - failed to boot
    'Oh ic whats wrong try re-booting again.'
    15 mins later fails again 'Ooer and more you need a new base station we will send a tech ....

    At then end of the day it's down to how much can a computer store and process. ie how much money have you got. The USA checks all out going and incoming information, thats big processing. To read car plate number no problem.

    Yes, I was wondering how they are going to do that. If it's by IP, just go via something like openDNS or if they are looking at each packet use https. Sounds like just another waste of govenerment / public money.
