Wow. When my t.v. is on, it's usually on tech tv.
I live in Los Angeles... hopefully they'll want to give a budding young computer scientist an on air jorb...
Finally apple is doing something about speeding Safari up. I don't know about everyone else, but anytime i opened more than 5 tabs in 1.1, my whole machine would slow to a crawl. Already I can tell a huge performance increase with 1.2!
on a serious note: my sister and I used to scream and shout messages and now that everyone in my family has a computer or laptop w/ wi-fi, we REALLY do im each other with messages. The Stress level has gone from a 10 to a 5. If anything IMing has helped my relationship with my sis!
THIS SYSTEM HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE HOMELESS! This is a horrible idea! The tracking starts with the homeless, but in a matter of years I'm sure the system could *easily* be adapted to cover [insert group here]... can you imagine how quickly this could be adapted after [insert 911-like event]?
If you want to help the homeless, put the money and effort that *would be spent* in this tracking system into building HOMES and providing JOBS. They data they plan to collect will NOT benifit anyone except the companies and politicians who will manufacture, distribute and regulate the system. God bless the home of the free.

isn't asking this question here like going to skid row for advice on how to kick heroin?
