Then why doesn't my monthly bill go down when my 2-year contract is up? If I'm paying for part of the phone every month for 2 years, when the phone is paid off, my bill should go down.
Because you're not on T-Mobile. Their non contract rates are cheaper.
Heavy, well made textbooks last longer. So in the old days, kids could inherit their older sister's textbook, who inherited it from her older brother etc., or in fact communal textbooks could be kept by the school and distributed to the same grade year in, year out.
That book is out of date this year. You have to buy the new book.
More easy ideas: stop it with the 'war on drugs': it's an abject failure, and is ridiculously expensive. Legalize and tax marijuana the same as alcohol. You then get: tax money for the sales of marijuana (and more money from the increased sales of junk food, most likely:), billions less spent on the war on drugs, and billions less spent incarcerating marijuana users and marijuana-only dealers. By legalizing marijuana, you'll also take a great deal of power away from the drug cartels, and reduce violence.
Similar thing for prostitution.
Are you sure about that? There is a lot of organized crime based around stealing legal drugs from pharmacies. Making it legal will make the crime magically go away?
Let me try to rephrase it for people that are living comfortably: if two car bombs went off in New York city and killed eight, would you just shrug that off as normal everyday police work?
That's not entirely true. For example, I could say that it is illegal to smoke pot in the U.S. And that would be true until California takes a vote this November. Then, the truth will have changed; that statement is currently true, but no longer will be.
Nothing that California does changes federal law that pot is illegal.
So the prostitution issue is completely separate from all of this. They should legalize prostitution so that it's safe and expect prostitution to be popular in every country with married or unmarried men.
And people wonder why Apple is raking in money hand over fist. Perhaps it's because they have a clear product lineup? Sometimes you have to stop trying to sell to every person on the planet.
The same can be said for ATT.
I cross fingers and hope that a WebOS version will appear too. Though I won't hold my breath.
I don't think there is much demand for Vonage on HP's WebOS printers. :-)
Can we have a similar ruling for Apple and AT&T please?
Apple is preventing AT&T from selling other phones?

means that MacOS is far less attractive for many application developers.
I'm sure the Mac platform will really miss those 30 versions of Mine Sweeper.

Cryptome's John Young speculates that the 'insurance' file contains all the redacted bits.
It's just info on the Roswell aliens.
Bullshit. My wife and I have both worn corrective lenses since childhood, and have very similar vision problems.
You're implying that just because you are married we should believe that you are also getting laid?
Of course it is not about oil money going to taxpayers. It is about the gov't subsidizing oil companies making profits on that oil.
How many people were killed due to gang related violence in Chicago this week?
That's nothing compared to the kill rate from terrorists who drink and drive.
The US was at war with France?

Just another mafia hit?
I mean, assuming the food was free - what more could you want?
Alone time with the Little Mermaid.
Bruce modded as Troll?
Do you define it as 256kbps(like the US did until 2 years ago), 1.5 mbps(at&t basic DSL), 10m(comcast), 25-50mbps(FIOS,uverse, next gen comcast)?
in the US there are plenty of users who cant yet get above 5 mbps.
I barely get 5mbs on Comcast. But still better than DSL.
Not to mention the "right to lifers" who want everyone to live in misery for as long as possible no matter what their choice is.
Not a fair comparison. Stephen Hawking is also very rich and can afford more care than most people.

Mann said. 'Putting mechanical issues in the same category as an act of God — I don't think that's what God intended.'
Maybe not your God.
I guess you don't consider Taiwan and Hong Kong to be "real" Chinese?
So the prostitution issue is completely separate from all of this. They should legalize prostitution so that it's safe and expect prostitution to be popular in every country with married or unmarried men.
You don't think women want male prostitutes also?
For what you would over-spend on that you could get a PC tower and a whole mess of 2TB disks.
That's a mess alright.
So you paid the Windows tax. And you're ok with that.

Isn't Apple the enemy of Linux lovers?
