The user interface for GIMP is really not compatible with Windows, they use different conventions! I really doubt that GIMP will look more in place on X.. I just don't see that happening.
So, basically.. your telling me that I should drop out of the Computer Science program at my school and pick up a degree in MIS, so I can make crappy webpages the rest of my life?
Anyone can edit Wikipedia.org.. and guess what, someone has. Here is the real story on "re-activating the draft":

This guy also wasn't doing it full time. He was only able to spam while his buddies were not there, so the phone calls wouldn't bother them. He also took a full month off to look for ways to distribute his spam. I think if this guy had spent 40 hours a week doing this, he would have made a lot more.
I was on AOL back in the day, when e-mail was not to be sent between the regular internet and AOL. This was because AOL was a giant BBS. It wasn't even conncted to the internet, it was just a connection of other AOL users conncted together. As soon as AOL added the internet, e-mail possible between all.
Switching a task in an OS is called context switching. This means that the OS saves all of the registers used by the application, and then loads up the saved registers of the task you are switching to. When this task has ended, or another context switch occurs, the registers of the saved task are then reloaded.
If you go to www.google.com and look up context switching you should be able to find all the information you'll ever need!
I only look at the first two pages or three pages for what I want, so if they returned 30 really excellent results I would happy with that. Quality over quantity. Just because Google gives me 10 billion billion results doesn't mean much.

So that is why I have been having a hard time getting hired.. and here I thought it was the economy. Thank god all I have to do is create a snappy website!

I use Paint.NET for most of my stuff: Paint.NET page

Paint.NET is a much prettier Windows editing program, I suggest you download it instead!
I like how one of the last things it mentions anywhere on the page is how to actually use it at a phone. It was buried in the bottom of the FAQ!!

Will sun glasses make the whole thing break? Maybe even the glare from my regular glasses during a sunset, or sunrise could throw the whole thing off!
Worste idea... ever!!!
The draft is not going to happen, not anytime soon. Can you imagine what would happen if that were to occurr? These are pure rumors
After the fall of the USSR the first Bush in the white house also decreased military budgets..

I checked out the library soon after opening. It was huge, and also sports free WiFi!!!
Aparently your not talking about ANSI C?
You have to include stdio.h to use printf..
Maybe they should take a look at the Dean campaign. Boy, Dean sure benefited from the Internet!!

Here is a nice picture of Rumsfeld shakind hands with the evil Saddam. Oh wait, he wasn't evil then..
I always thought this war was about WMD not Saddam. It only turned into a war about Saddam after WMD was not found right away
"We have a woman in the office who had never used a computer before in her life. We plunked her down in front of a Windows box and a Linux box."
Holy hell, a woman can use Linux? Then Linux must be pretty easy to use if a simple woman can figure it out
Moore's law itself is exponential. Remember a few years ago when the 1Ghz barrier was just being broken? Now there are decently priced 3Ghz computers.
