    Why would they want to patent it? M$ doesn't use the same trashcan, and even though the Gnome desktop's trash is remarkably similar, what's the point of forcing them to use another icon? It's not like they're making money off of the "Ripped off" version of the trashcan..

    How would not having a display make it travel light? I'm not flaming here, i'm just asking a question.. How could you travel light while lugging around a monitor?

    Even if you could find a monitor at your destination, what's the point of having a laptop that you can only use while plugged in? Wouldn't it be smarter to buy, say a USB hard drive?

    speaking of spam, In the time it took me to clean all the spam off of my hotmail acct and read the 2 messages that were real (my inbox was full), I got 15 peices of spam, not including my junk mail folder (ever wonder why there's a limit on the amount of addresses you can put on your block senders list?) In tota, I must get at least 150 peices of spam PER DAY

    nah, that wood cause too many problems.. I know that I would constantly be hitting it by accident and re-booting the comp. I know I always hit the windows key by accident while looking for the ctrl or Alt keys. (Maybe that's the reason behind using a 3-key combo?? =P)
