Do you realy belive the military WANTS to capture Bin Laden? Its an ethics question, simular to cancer research. If you are a cancer researcher, and this is all you have done for 15 years, and you discover a cure, but risk loosing all of your funding, and having to persue another medical problem, do you release it to the masses? Some people will, some people will not.
War drives our economy. Without Bin Laden, we are loose jobs at weapons plants, the reserves come back, and either return to their old jobs, or look for new ones. If they return to their old jobs, someone that replaced them is going to have to leave, or put a burden on the company. Plus, Haliburton/B&R will have to slow down their money hoarding.
Exactly, since when has the suspect been the expert witness to how dangerous the suspect can be. Why are they going to decide that he is not a threat after speaking to him. Did he promise to be a good boy? This was just an intemidation tactic.
Another drawback to this design was no throttle. The engine was toggled on and off by a switch that grounded out the magneto. This is why you hear the off and on sounds in older movies when the planes are landing. the rotating engine did not provide for a mechanical linkage to the carberator, so the carb was set, and an electrical linkage would cut the ignition.

As a child, we would tape.177" metal balls (BBs) over the primer of a 12 gauge shotgun shell, glue 3 feet of light plastic ribbon to the crimped end, and hurl them as far as we could before taking cover behind whatever was near. Sort of an improvised hand grenade. Sometimes it worked, but if too much horizontal, you would just dent the rim of the shell.
While in corpus for a tour of their emergency operations center, I noticed all of the phones were VOIP cisco models. Not sure who the provider is, or if the VOIP phones are interfaced to a PBX. It would be interesting to see if any 911 services are run over VOIP ( I know that vonage would not provide this, but some other carrier.)
Have you registered for Vonage? I did ( last night) and there are no less than 5 click agreements stating their 911 situation.If you dont read one of them, you deserve a darwin award if the fire department does not find your house.
Our scout troop had to quit snipe hunting, after a cub scout broght back a possom he and another scout had beat to death with a stick. He wanted to know if it was a snipe, we laughed our asses off, then recieved the asschewing of a life time from our scout master.

Does anyone have a copy of the ULA? I would assume it mentions something about this software, but since no one ( or almost no one) reads the damn thing, sony can mention it, and not worry about people resisting the install.
I thought a few companys used databases for user info ( ip address, additional land line numbers). Why not have a port added into that info, that way when you look up someones ip address ( or rather your software looks it up) it would also get a dynamic/static port on the client. If they are just blocking ports, this should cut down on it. If they are examining individal packets, I dont know what you could do. Have a set number of data bits, then a checksum assigned to each user to vary the data structure. If they are examining each packet, I would think that would cause major latancy issues.

Why not ust buy the phone unlocked from LG? It will cost probobly 100-150 more, but no hassle.

The colored glass will act as a filter, and cut the power of your beam quite a bit. Try it with a flash light.
