Uh well yeah. Here is how to do Linux, here is how to make a Solaris Jumpstart Server and here is how to run Mac as a diskless node. They all basically use the same methods via bootp... Couldn't even begin to tell you about windows support.

I hope this works alot better then the Quicktime 6 Public Preview I tried several weeks ago.

iMovie kept crashing on me randomly, though I think it was tied to certain plugins, not sure. The game Black and White wouldn't even start up at all with QT6 Public Preview.

After rolling back to Quicktime 5 I was a happy camper again.

Gah, and no Mpeg2 support still. Everyone knows all the good pr0n is mpeg2. ;)

"Instead of fixing up the car, modify your life by getting rid of it entirely. " The problem with your logic is that you don't gain any new knowledge or experience by 'waiting for the bus'. You don't modify your car to get from Point A to point B faster, you modify your car to get the most out of it that you can. It's called a hobby. If you were to take up one or two of those, you might avoid making such embarrasing comments.
Ah but you do gain knowledge reading a book while waiting for a bus, opposed to concentrating on driving.

"Getting the most out of your car" isn't going to be gas mileage, it's handling and speed.

Embarrasing comments? I think he made a valid point. I'd reasses who made the silly comment.

True plug and play for the hardware ((and top notch hardware at that) and I'm sick of playing the update my drivers(WinXX) or kernel(Linux) daily), UNIX underpinnings (being a Solaris admin I love it for myriads of reasons), GUI simplicity (let's face it, I'm lazy when I get home from work and those iApps kick butt also), and with VirtualPC I can still run any Winblows app that I might need. I couldn't think of a more perfect solution. Plus a sexy lookin machine with a sexy desktop is just icing on the cake.

My apolagies to the die hard Mac crowd, I hate to hear that any company is leaving their core customer group behind. But let's face it, every company sells out eventually. I have to admit they should have made it an entirely different OS product line.
