The thing that most people don't realize about saving cord blood in a private bank for your own use is that if your child does happen to come down with the type of disease (e.g. leukemia) that requires stem cell treatment, it is highly unlikely that doctors would ever use the child's own cord blood because the child's stem cells already led to a case of leukemia and so there's no way they want to inject those (potentially) flawed stem cells again.
This says a lot about how right a grip the RIAA has on the business. If the RIAA wasn't holding Apple ransom for 70-odd cents per track, they would be making money hand-over-fist.
I think we should all congratulate Microsoft for laying such a shrewd trap for the spammers. Blatant security holes in Oulook, free accounts with Hotmail... it was only a matter of time for the spammers to ilegally exploit this.
