I kind of agree, in that Facebook shouldn't use it's platform to try to influence the race. But Facebook employees should feel free to do their part to support the candidate of their choice.
The question is, will the Google Play Music app have features useful for podcasts? Some podcasts it really doesn't matter what order you listen to episodes in, current events type things like Tech News Today or music podcasts like AMPed New Music Weekly. Others like Serial or Hardcore History or other episodic long form podcasts should be listened to in a particular order, oldest first. Seems like it would take awhile for Google to get it's app as feature rich as many of the already available podcast players.
I wish them luck though.
I'm frequently in locations that have no or slow cell service (on all carriers). I want may media collection local, sure I keep it on Google Play Music and other services as well but that doesn't obviate my need to have it locally. On my LG G3 the 32GB internal memory is about 75% and the 64GB SD card is a little over 50%, because I caught up on a lot of podcasts (audio and video) while I was out of town this weekend.
I might be willing to live without a changeable battery, but I really would have a hard time giving up the external SD card. Of course, if I can buy a 64GB microSD for $20, it shouldn't cost $100 more for a phone with 64GB vs. the same model with 32GB. The price difference for a 32GB chip and a 64GB chip is like $1 in 1,000 quantity, should be even a smaller margin at very large quantities. If sane prices for high memory capacity phones existed I could switch, but no-one wants to do that.
I generally don't run with full admin privileges (ability to install) on my system, although that would certainly work on my wife's laptop. I really gotta get her PC locked down, damn the inconvenience.
I turned off autorun on any external media a long time ago, back when sony cd's were injecting rootkits under the guise of DRM circa 2005. Nothing on insertable media autoruns on my PC.
During six of Clinton's 8 years republicans had control of both houses of congress. The president can only recommend and later sign or not sign the passed budget, the budget is created by congress. In those years a Republican congress.
The police are more than 5 times more likely to shoot an innocent person than a civilian.
"Although only 2 percent of those involved in civilian shootings are misidentified, 11 percent of individuals involved in police shootings were later found to be innocents misidentified as criminals."
Regarding the myth of "highly trained professionals":
"...one of several shootings where the police, in legitimately (mostly) trying to shoot bad guys, accidently[sic] shot citizens instead, in one case, shooting not only the bad guy, but nine innocent bystanders."
The author goes on to talk about mediocre training and political decisions that make most police sup-par shooters.
Seriously? Of all the Crap reality TV on, these are the ones you chose to make your point? Those two are way down the priority list from, for example #27 Real Housewives, #13 swamp people, and of course #1 Jersey Shore. But don't worry, mission planning proceeds apace.
...with antennas to remotely disable machines. I've known people make them. However the issue was that 2.4GHz* would cause people to go blind if you hit them with it (due to the clear liquid in your eyes turning milky). As such I don't think this will ever be used in anything other than a war setting, and even then, if you're going to cook the occupants to death, you might as well hit them with a conventional explosive, probably a nicer way to go.
TFA doesn't mention which microwaves they use, perhaps they other other ones which do not affect humans so much.
The burden placed on the enemy of caring for the suddenly disabled is considered part of warfare and is in fact more damaging to the enemy than simply killing them.
War is ugly.
The highest posted speed limit on my normal commute to work (in the US) is 40 MPH. I don't need to drive on a highway most days. When I do need to go on the highway I'll probably be in the mini-van with the wife and kids.
It is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know your enemies but do know yourself, you will win one and lose one; if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle. - Sun Tzu
I'd be willing to be the Obama campaign has an account somewhere that has liked Mitt as well.
The educated adults realized that it is cost prohibitive to switch with no real benefit other than "everyone else is doing it". If I need to replace a bathroom fixture in my home that is already plumbed with.5" copper pipe I will need to have fixtures available that match that. There is all sorts of durable infrastructure already in place that will continue to need servicing for a long time. It is not really practical to change.
I think he is referring to the cast listing on IMDb. Ender(Asa Butterfield), whom you would suppose is the main character is listed fifth while Valentine(Abigail Breslin) is listed second.
What? Your 22K+ atheists donated $369 each while Just under 10K Christians donated $498 each.
This of course ignores the problems with people self-identifying themselves into your neat little categories.
Also ignores decades/centuries old established channels of charitable giving through Christian churches, and only gathers statistics through a relatively new web charity.

These things are not just used to charge your phone 'ya know. The standard includes "DisplayPort over USB-C" among other things.
If the cat feels it really should be a dog there is nothing wrong with that.
That is a weighty subject indeed.

So keep scrolling down past the video and read the step by step. It even has pictures!

Microwaves are non-ionizing, so cancer 20 years later is unlikely.
Before the civil war many of the leaders of the US used to be slave owners. Doesn't mean the ideals of the United States is wrong, just of those men.

I guess there is some irony that I didn't bother to log in and posted that as Anonymous Coward.

I want to die peacefully in my sleep like grand-dad, not screaming in terror like his passengers.
For me just one more year. And that answer will be the same if you ask me next year, and the year after that, and the year after that, ...
