  1. Almost any activity is unhealthy if abused on China's Internet Addiction Clinic · · Score: 0

There is a general rule guiding almost any human activity--be moderate. An overdose of Internet surfing, gaming, TV, drinking, etc is very unhealthy. A healthy lifestyle may include any of the above including alcohol, as long as it is not abused. Internet addiction may be far more damaging to your health than alcohol -- it's all about being temperate.

  2. Roy J. Glauber = Ariel Sharon? on Nobel Prize in Physics: Seeing the Light · · Score: 0

Does anybody else think that Roy J. Glauber http://nobelprize.org/physics/laureates/2005/index .html looks a lot like Ariel Sharon (PM of Israel). After seeing the picture, I for a moment thought that Ariel Sharon won the Nobel Peace Prize. Hmm....

Raise taxes. Gap! yes! raise *YOUR* taxes so that *YOUR* children may go to school and have a chance at a good education and a good future, a concept America as a whole has completely forgotten for some reason.

I don't have children, you insensitive clod!

,p> How about you stop asking for taxes (i.e. the public) to pay for your kid's education, and send your kid to a private school so you could pay for your own kids instead of milking people like me.

Along with this proposal, it would also be a good idea to switch our time-keeping to metric units, just like the Geek Coucil in "The Simpsons" did. Well, ya know, some programmers got families to feed. And I've been dreaming of owning a boat for a while now...

  7. Warm up before swallow on Microsoft Warms Up to Linux · · Score: 1

I'm afraid Microsoft will need to do more than just warm up before it tries to consume Linux. Mircrosoft should be warned that it can easily choke while trying to swallow the penguin.

anyone can opt out of the system by providing detailed personal information that will be kept in a separate suppression file. I wanted to opt out, and decided to do it as soon as possible before they close this loophole -- suckers. Unfortunately the article did not mention to which marketing firm I should send my info. I assumed it's the one mentioned in the article below this one -- DoubleClick. You guys should waste any time either... P.S.: Do any of you guys know why they asked for my credit card number?

Everything adds up. Just read the blurp carefully.

35% MUSIC LISTENERS buy music downloads.
40% MUSIC LISTENERS download music illegally.
    100 - 35 - 40 = 25% Therefore
25% MUSIC LISTENERS do not download music but listen to music in some other way, CD's or LIVE.
