    "A" puts something patented in MS "Open Source" code. MSPL says you have a license to use that patent.
    You patent something else. "A" does something that you think violates that patent. You sue "A".
    Congratulations! Your license to use "A"'s patent has been yanked.

    You can not deliberately attempt to maim. You can try to kill, and maim as a side effect of a failed kill.

    Also, with the strength of this laser, you'd have fried brains along with the blinded eye.

    Plus, slagging it tends to deform it and reduce it's aerodynamics badly.

    C-RAM (Counter Rocket/Artillery/Mortar) is a great thing for the guy in the field.

    And to the guy who talked about blinding baby seals, you don't have to worry about that. If this thing would hit you with a strike that would blind you, you'd be dead anyways with a coagulated brain.

    2K had major improvemens in the kernel over 2K. It used the WDM driver model instead of the NT Driver model, for one, and there were many other changes as well.

    No, it (Special Relativity) starts with the assumption that the speed of light is constant for all inertial observers, and moves on from there.
