    I'd say the install approaches the ease of modern Linux distributions, but lacks hardware support straight out of install. Many drivers you will have to install yourself, after finding them via Google, which brings the question of their integrity to light...

    It's my machine, not windows. Naaa! Besides this can cause big problems for corporate networks, time critical machines, and even has introduced instabilities in some peoples' desktops. Does anyone know what this update did exactly? Editing the installer, like this patch did, could have opened the door wide open for future actions like these.

    What do you expect? It's Ford.. Why have some newfangled radiator/compressor technology when you can substitute 400 pounds of ice? Hell why use wheels? we could just put it on skates and freeze the desert. That seems like pretty reliable transportation to me.
