Intel is just biding time until they can release their new core. To bad the only tricks they have left are crappy tricks. Intel isn't going away anytime soon though. AMD had to underclock their chips for dualcore to work on the same socket, but they have built this core from the ground up for multiprocessing and to a lesser extent power saving. So being able to run two cores on the same power you know it's going to be powerfull.

The $13 you pay for a CD covers all the operating costs (salary, overhead including shrinkage, advertising) of the retailer, as well as the distributor (5% right there, if disty margins are the same in the record industry as they are in the......"

This just goes to show you how unefficant and outdated this business model is. The dollar isn't just a ticket you "vote" with, It also shows the path to the most efficent method of doing something. If it's cheaper, it more effective/efficent. Thus it's better for the economy overall. Obviously this isn't good for the RIAA's economy, but that's not our problem. I can burn a cd for less then a quarter, or drive to the mall, look threw a huge catalog by hand and then pay $13+ for a CD (usualy more) This is brutaly clear that the old method for music is archaic.

I second this solution. I have a Vx personaly for the extra memory. the palm keyboard is quite impressive because it folds up quite small, about 2 times the size of the palm but still pocket possible. It would be nice if it had bluethooth wireless but then again this would just kill it's impressive battery life.

the applications are bloatless and cheap. you can find alot on p2p and newsgroups if you are cheap. The case is metal but if you are looking for more durability like I was, rhinoskin makes a fited aluminum case. the palm with its included leather cover, would last 100 years in a shirt pocket or a breif case but if you are putting it in a jeans pocket or are a college student the rhinoskin is a must, if you want it to last that long ;)

The keyboard isn't as nearly as durable but it comes with a foamish bodyglove type case that will protect it from most drops that are impossible for an iPod.
