    When hard disks first came out they would sell/label them as 5 megabytes but contain a little more than that with the assumption that a percentage of the disk would fail.

    So where did it go?

    They shut it down. It is now only available on the Mandrake 8.0 powerpack CDs.

    It does actually touch the HDD. It mounts a swap partition if it exists.

    I can only see this as bad if you have a suspended session saved on the swap partition. Think laptops.

    In all seriousness. Something like this has no idea that it's wrong to fire on unarmed civillians. A human pilot does. A human pilot knows that if he drops a bomb on unarmed civillians, there is a chance that he'll be spending time on the wrong side of a cell.

    A human non-american knows.

    I use FreeBSD 5.2.1 flawlessly on my Dell Inspiron 8200. The ports systems is way cool.

    If I have to use Linux then it must be Debian. Package management is the key.

    Employment agents don't know shit when it comes to IT so they should give some sort of test to see if you're actually bullshitting. Also, employment agents tend to "tidy up" resumes a little so that you fit the job description.
