    I can't agree with that.
I did what you said, and I even interviewed with TekSystems recruiter in person. I heard absolutely nothing from them nor the Virginia state. Surely there's a lot of companies trying to find people, but most of them are looking for something like a 5 years "ENTRY LEVEL" Java Developer or SAP administrator, whereas I only have 2 years of industrial experiences.
Those human resources always think a person's skills improve as the years go, they had never seen what I see - people who write shitty codes continue writing shitty codes no matter how much work they have done.

Being raised in a Catholic environment, maybe I can shed some light on this topic.
The controversy is on whether God created us just as how we look nowaday. As archaeologists have proven from what they dug out, the people in the history has a bit different in body shapes compare to how we look like now. When the Bible said God created the man in His image, it does not necessary mean the physical appearance. I believe His image that God created us has something to do with our souls, and it is what distinguished us from those monkeys and apes.
Those who insisted on intelligent design-ism (as in anti-evolution) nowadays is actually no difference from those who claimed that earth is the center of universe in the middle age. Why can't we Christians just open up our mind and clear up our misunderstandings of God's words?
I was graduated from a reformed Christian college, and I am so proud that at least some of our professors are not stuck with that anti-evolution thing.

That box was constantly under heavy load and it would be stable for at least half an year. Imagine doing the same thing with Windows (any version of Windows) on that same box.

Sometimes you cannot blame Linux for system instability. There are certain hardware which runs better in Windows. When the vendors send samples to Microsoft for certification, it could be possible that Microsoft add codes to workaround hardware flaws. Those same flaws, on the other hand, might not be disclosured to Linux or other open-sourced operating system.

How would you explain that some ACPI-supported hardware would not work at all with Linux, while others can, given that the hardware should function in the same specs and standards?
