    1200 pounds is about 1600 us dollars.
    I can get a (almost top of the line) palm Tungsten T3 off store.palmone.com for 400 bucks.

    Thats 1/4 the cost of this "rugged" pda.
    Considering my past 2 palms have lasted about a year before they start to "fall appart"...
    Palms are dispolsable right?
    If yes, Screw the 1600 and i'll just upgrade once per year.

    I questsion the intelligence of some of the guys working immigration at airports.

    I was coming back to LAX from a trip on Saturday, and I saw them taking pictures and fingerprints of "foriegn visitors"

    As for me, the Immigrations guy did not trust my passport (its offical, its legal, it was issued by his agency) and demands that I produce a 2nd ID. I give him my drivers lic.

    After studying both pieces of identification for a good 30-45 seconds, he comments that both pictures are the same.

    I calmly tell him that he is not qualified to look at IDs because the picture on the DL was taken at the DMV when I was 16, while the passport photo was taken when I was 19.

    Well, atleast 2 years ago, there was a gateway store nearby where I was and I needed a yahoo map. Pull into the parking lot, whip out my laptop, and i'm set!

    aah good times. I hope gateway will atleast keep those APs on after theyre gone.

    Talked to some guy, and he said yea, theyre closing. Should have a big sale, but doesnt know when.

    check out the freezer isle at your local supermarket. Sometimes new products have a "try me for free!" badge on them.

    Although by agreeing to the "Try me for free!" offer, you do have to pay tax and go through reate hell to collect the 3.99 check.

    Its all in the master plan for "national security" where we all have to be tracked. They're just praticing on the homeless for now.

    What the article doesn't mention is that they are compensating the homeless with a house and car. (not too shabby)

    As for when the Administration finally launches its full-blown plan, I doubt we will get such perks as the homeless got.
