If the majority of your subscribers are infants (ignorant) then you have to treat them as such. The baby gate in the hall, the electrical socket plugs, and the curtain lines... Keep them proxied and out of my hair!!! I get more spam from "Regular ISP's" wind-ho's virus tainted trash then AOL. Keep the newbies where they belong---Supervised!!!! If you are stupid enough to sign up for AOL then you deserve it

got a full t-1 going through a linux router box with QoS, I started out just scheduling based on port, but now packet size is the best way. The pipe could have very heavy traffic, but yet my shell is a smooth as silk, DNS querys are quick. I recommend it highly
I work for an ISP and we really dislike customers like you, that's probably why they haven't responded to your emails. IPv6 on your DSL....oooohhh you're cool...not!!!!
Let's see, I'm paying $80 a month, but I get a local phone line, 300 min of long distance, 960/960 adsl with 5 static ips (a little bit extra a mo), can ping yahoo in 46ms...and lets see it has gone down...once that I know of(in 2+ years) except for a 6hr backbone outage. DSL is much more reliable, but you have to find the right provider. Have fun running a server on cable that can upload worth a damn. This line is enough to run web, dns , mail, game server, and still gets the pr0n in a resonable amount of time.(thanx linux router with (QoS)

these aren't really spam, it is a variant of the klez32.worm that can exploit your outlook email address book (thanks bill) and spoof with whoever's email addy is in there...The senders are just people that are infected...I work for an ISP and have had quite a few calls about the subject...
