I have done a little reading in my time sir. All of those that you are mentioning, used nuclear power to produce electricity. Apparently you weren't reading, but my post was reffering to NASA using it as a main source of propulsion.
To use is as propulsion would require far more nuclear material than for the small generators they were using in the past.
Such as when nasa wanted to test their quantum drive and was shut down horribly. They want to use a nuclear device to literally bend space. Ummmm....still haven't cured cancer, I think we should look to more immediate problems first.
radiations mutagenic effects is only a positive thing in plant cells. In animal cells it causes extreme decay. You need to also read the sub articles because, the amount of radiation pounding that planet is quite a lot. And water is not a good insulatory to radiation, the very water you would drink would be radioactive and extremely hostile to a living organism.
Nasa does have a senate over sight commitee and Nasa itself is largely made up of engineers who have no concept of budget. I admit IBM is doing top level research, but they don't have the insurance risks NASA is dealing with. At IBM if there new laser teleportation experiment where they try to bind particles to a laser beam, if that fails it fails, if NASA fails, 7 astronauts die. Plus they are not a company and they are bonded by government bullshit most of can not even imagine.

I do take Kenpo, but I was strong before martial arts and I am strong afterwards, I just did Kenpo for technique. The fact that you boys are referring to it as "Martial Arts" goes to show that you weren't really into it, or good at it. People who are into "Martial Arts" never would call it that, they would refer to their specific school of training; Kenpo, Karate, Judo, Kung Fu: schaolin or dragon style. They would not say, I trained in "martial arts" by definition even wrestling is a martial art. Please don't fantasize on my watch next time.
and if you had ruptured his kidney with karate, jujitsu, or another form of training, then you weren't trained well. I could easilly put you on your back without causing permanent physical damage to you. A Kenpo student, is controlled not one to hurt a person of less strength simply because I did the stupid thing of allowing them to hit me.
