I dunno, dvdrom died in my inspiron 1100, I had a new one at my door within 48 hours, no complaints there, provided packing slip to send the old one back and everything.

just wondering, but if the s-dmca goes though, would it not also make it illegal to use an alias on the internet? because you are not showing the true originator of the statement.
Over the last few weeks I have tried many different distros and as far as I've found, SuSE 8.1 is the best out-of-the-box distro I've found. You can always download the evaluation cd and see for yourself. Burn the image, boot off it, wont make any modifications to data on your hard drive(s).
