In any case, you need somebody to take the cautious approach. Had the US listened more to world opinion they wouldn't have illegally invaded Iraq. The US had an attitude where they shoot first and maybe bother asking questions later, whereas European nations are more likely to ask themselves whether they should shoot. I like being on the side that thinks at least first before doing something.

My Chinese (from Beijing) girlfriend says the opposite is true. North Korea would sooner take a nuke to China than South Korea. Why would the 'Norks' nuke half their country they want back (South Korea)? North Korea and China are certainly allies but they are not friends.
At the same time, China is probably concerned their neighbours are all in possesion of nuclear weapons.

Second other countries have solved this problem. Have one company take over and be responsible for the network infrastructure. BT do this in the UK with broadband and wireline. It's not a stretch for this to happen with wireless as well without a detrimental affect on the customer.
I didn't say Apple don't stuff the channel. But when they say they sell every phone they make and then go on the record to show their SALES figures, it's hard to not believe them. Until Samsung and the like show their sales figures your argument will always be flawed. I'm tired of comparing Apples to Oranges (sales vs shipments), I want to compare Apples to Apples (sales to sales) and I'm also tired of news outlets equating sales and shipments (to create false statistics/headlines) as being the same thing when they are not.
Give me the evidence and we'll debate it. I'm not even saying you're wrong, the Samsung S II could be selling more than the iPhone. I JUST want to see sales figures and less bullshit.

Those links are bunk. The first one doesn't report on how it got its numbers, the BBC link is based on shipments and we all know anybody can stuff a sales channel. How many did Samsung actually SELL. Apple admits to selling everything they ship while Samsung don't report sales figures. So lets see Samsung's numbers and then we will have a bit more truth as you say.
Your tablet link regarding marketshare is also about shipments and not sales. You do realise profits come from sales right? That's the important metric to measure but you're not being allowed to if you want to argue for Android.

I remember some research that was conducted in some South American town where the men hadn't been exposed to advertised related to the female form. The conclusions were that the men were naturally attracted to larger women, not slim women. The theory was larger women were seen as being the healthier choice for raising a child.
This issue probably is being taken seriously, but how big is this machine which we're trying to slow down? In France doctored images have to be declared as such and in the UK the subject is brought up often. Not sure where you live but here in Europe these are the little things I am aware of.

If you are going to complain about the smell of your trash, try rinsing it. If that doesn't help, get the government involved, in the UK we recycle and the government wanted companies to help us better recycle by using less packaging. Approaching the problem from both sides.
