Right, which is why Europeans and the Japanese have 30 Mbps internet connections for less than what I pay for 1.5 Mpbs dsl here in the states. And why freaking Cuba has comparable health care quality for 1/27th as much as what we spend per patient, only their care is universal.

So why don't you go ahead and move on out to your Libertarian Paradise where your kids can enjoy their peanut butter & salmonella sandwiches with their arsenic laced drinking water.

Breaking up the banks will stop them from blowing up the entire world economy, but not putting limits on their compensation means will will still have plenty of blow ups - they'll just be smaller ones that take out investors and depositors (that other banks and taxpayers will have to eat through FDIC).

How would you know if the 'denialist ostriches' have valid arguments if you never consider them?

Because they're based on whatever canard is most convenient at the time, not based on scientific research. Like how some thickening arctic ice sheets meant that global warming was a hoax - except they were thickening not because of colder weather, but from increased precipitation - brought on by warmer temperatures. Now it's these cherry picked emails and snippets of code. Tomorrow it will be some other distraction/misdirection.
