This Week in Tech (TWIT) is my favorite podcast. I look forward to my Monday commute so I can listen to the new episode. TWIT is published at midnight on Sundays.
Currently, the audio quality is lacking, but they are working on a better solution. It's great to hear Leo, Patrick, Robert, Yoshi, and Kevin all together again.
Also, for Mac users, consider http://maccast.com/. Adam Christianson does a great job covering Mac news and tips.
How will this telescope be serviced? A million miles is a very long way to travel should a malfunction occur. At least Hubble only costs $1B to fix. JWST would cost far, far more than that for service and upgrades.
Or is JWST a telescope built in the style of the Mars rovers that had an expected life span of 90 days and happen to have lasted a year?
I see this as a beneficial agreement. It makes room on the shelves for more games that don't have anything to do with the NFL. Plus, Sega can now spend resources on something other than competing with Madden.
Those monkeys flying from Darl's sphincter lately will be shown to have been stolen from the Wicked Witch of the West. E-mails between the Lollypop Guild and the Lullaby League will prove it.
Some people discard or eat their young after they are born (the latter being extremely rare). Animals never abort. Well, likely not... it's never been caught on a surveillance camera.
He offered you a single service whose effects last for one day maximum in exchange for a service that lasts months or years? I'd be looking for a lot more adjustments than that! You saved him a lot of grief and hassle.
Your technical expertise is worth just as much as his medical expertise, IMHO.
Their system is probably just as preferential as the random searches going on at airports and other secure locations. You are just as likely to be a terrorist if you are a grandma, child, or any other non-muslim creed.
Unfortunately, the minor issue of MONEY gets involved. If we blocked them off totally, it will hinder trade with the Chinese, which is what too many world economies rely on.
If it hadn't been for Kevin's recent Dark Tip about Linux on Linksys routers, I wouldn't own the router I have now, the WRT54G. Although they did not make it clear on the show there is only one (now two) router model(s) that can be modified and despite the fact that it isn't really a "Dark Tip" because compiling firmware from GPL'd code isn't a hack nor very dark, I still found it to be a very useful segment.
The sound that would send the necessary amount of "green-friendly" chills down the spine of any helium-cooled refrigeration unit is Howard Dean's famous scream.
You forgot to tell Adblock to "Collapse Blocked Elements". It's located on the Adblock Preferences dialog on the Adblock Options menu. Check that option and no more whitespace...
All well and good until Steve demos Leopard, pointing out that almost any Windows app can run on the Mac using Rosetta.

Nope. It's gone, too.
I just took a look at TMO. What a sad looking title. Looks more like Sims 2!

$50 promotional certificate? How did you come upon that?

Yep... humans have the unique trait of being the only species that intentionally kills its young before they are even born. Rather evil, I think.

If you had had a Slashdot subscription, you would have been one of the first to see bobwyman's advertisement.
