I fully agree. When a page takes three times as long to load because of the godz-cursed ads, I do what I can to get rid of them. That plus the known threat from malware that has been a problem with ads since they first came out.
Keep them fast, short, simple.. and SAFE.. and I might reconsider removing my beloved ad blocker. Otherwise.. well, screw you, advertisers, and I don't care what it costs me for "free" online services and information.
I experienced the same Reboot Loop problem a month or two ago (as apparently did many others). I had to find and run a (luckily free) program that cleaned up the system and rolled my Win10 Pro Insider Preview back to Build 10074. I've been stuck there ever since, simply postponing (and then closing the window on) any updates.
Not even a full Win10 install solved it: the install would accept neither the "old" Win10 Preview code nor the previous Win7 installation code. No solutions yet.
True that. Otherwise, think about prison yards (recent drop by a drone of drugs in one), athletic fields (imagine a drone ditching, aldning, crashing in the middle of a professional football or baseball game), back yards as you mentioned, stampeding farm animals, hovering outside a business's windows and photographing commercial secrets. The list goes on and on and on.
No one's said a word (yet) about the difference in resistance losses between AC and DC when you try to transmit it over any significant distance at all.
If you want to give up almost all of your electrical uses in your home or business, feel free: switch to DC. Otherwise, I wouldn't suggest it. If you think those AC losses are significant, they don't hold a candle (heh) to DC.
I'd be very interested in how they're stating the possibility ("pustulated", "may", "suggests") that the aircraft could've made a landing in the water. Dents or other damage on bottom surface of the flaperon) vs elsewhere? The way the hinges or control rods were damaged? This is VERY important, and I dislike people just speculating how it might have happened without some damned solid evidence.
One of the few damned things he's done that I agree with. The big turkey, chicken and hog factory owners in this state were HUGELY supporting making whistleblowing illegal, after numerous embarrassing incidents involving health and animal cruelty issues in their plants and farms.
Not for me then. I'll be damned if I'll click on an executable, a script, follow a link somewhere else, when it's in an email. I learned long ago, you just don't do that.
Simple solution: send out a chopper dangling a big heavy net to entrap and destroy the "remove controlled (hobby) airplanes." No warning, no discussion. Destroy them. I'm sure the FAA won't complain, and screw the owner.
Same choppers they use to haul big buckets of water to dump on fires, so I'm sure they're available.
My desktop system is in an update error loop (0xC1900101-0x20017) that apparently has no solution. Win 10 tries to update, reboots, fails without warning, reboots. I have to run a fortunately free boot disk which removes the attempted update, but certainly doesn't solve the basic problem. "Disconnect all external devices".. yeah, fine, no improvement. So I'm stuck at Build 10074, and wish I could figure how to stop all updates entirely! (Oh, and trying to reinstall Win10 Pro Insider Preview from an.iso image doesn't work either.) Talk about being screwed.. and it worked so well too, until that update. Time to wipe and reinstall, I guess. Or just drop back to my Win 7 (fortunately saved on a separate hard drive) and wait for the official Win10 release.
I haven't reviewed _all_ formulas, of course, and there might be places in code where disasters (or nonsensical results) might happen. Can anyone give me just one, please?

Be sure to read this NatGeo article which corrects some of the misconceptions and mistakes history passed on to the first linked article:

I've already promised the wife (to her eye-rolling disgust) that if I ever see a drone operator near an emergency scene, I shall:
1 - Punch him in the gut, hard.
2 - Take his controller away and jump up and down on it, repeatedly.
She feels I would be overreacting. I disagree. I haven't even gotten CLOSE to the "And then put the boots to the bastard" phase!

"this means not sharing arm rests with people."
Because NO ONE will have arm rests. There ain't no steenking arm rests for anyone! How .. interesting.
And stepping across one or two seats to reach the outward seats will be unpleasant, especially if you're a woman with a tight skirt.
Nope, this idea really really sucks.

Oh .. yeah .. here we go!
Yep, me too, _this_ close to jerking Java from my system entirely.
In div by zero, why is the zero considered an error? It may be a valid measurement.
I've looked at a bunch of useful formulas, and can't find a single one where replacing ANY variable value with 0 would be wrong.

When a hundred million dollars is mere chump change, not even a wrist slap.
Or they just reboot the system every day or so. I'll bet those systems haven't been running nonstop 24-7.
