Don't you get it?! An internet site devoted to hardware and it didn't know the difference between Glide and OpenGL!
To analogize, I'd certainly stop reading any paper which confused the United State Supreme Court with the office of the President of the United States.
If such an egregious and obvious error can get published, how could I ever trust the site to discover less obvious errors? Essentially, it'd be like reading the Weekly World News for real news: Pointless.
I used to read Tomshardware until several years ago. It reviewed several 3d cards, including one from 3dfx. It tested them in OpenGL where the 3dfx card dominated. The reviewer stated that the 3dfx card did well in OpenGL because OpenGL was its "native" API.
Not only did the reviewer not know the difference between Glide and OpenGL, he didn't even know that 3dfx's advantage in OpenGL was due to the fact that the drivers didn't fully impliment OpenGL.
It's a VERY common scam. People do this to get other rich people interested in investing. The point is not to take those investments and actually create a viable product. The point is to spend the investments and leave town when they dry up.
And I wanted to point out; I too have many photographs and videos of friends and family. I'll most likely view them when those in the images pass on.
I took all of these pictures and videos with cameras I bought and paid for out of my own money. Can you explain why you can't do the same? From looking at your website, it's apparent you have a camera. Whether you paid for it yoursel, is a different matter, I guess.
Why do you need a huge fancy party you cannot afford to take these pictures and preserve these memories? All you need is a camera, which you already have.
Ok, why does she deserve more than you have?! Sounds to me like she deserves a richer fiancé.
And why stop at the wedding? Does she require better shoes than you can afford?! Better clothes?! A better house?! Are you saying your little princess deserves anything less than a mansion?!
I'll leave you alone, there is one person worse than you, a person who'd donate to your asinine cause! With all the suffering in the world, giving to you should be a sin, if I believed in god.
Can you please explain to me what spending more money than you can afford on a wedding has to do with love?
If your future wife requires it, she's a materialistic bitch who'll never be happy. Run for your life now.
If your wife doesn't require it, than what's in it for you? As someone who's been married for two decades, I'll let you in on a clue. Two weeks after your wedding you NEVER think about it. You NEVER look at the pictures. You NEVER watch the videos.
Of course you'll say it's none of my business, but once you start asking the general public to support your desires, it becomes everyone's business.
I've got the model number off the actual screen. Google searchs have been fruitless. I've never seen "complete documentation" from anything I've bought in the last 20 years, so as to your last point, I have no idea what you're talking about.
I'm not talking about chips. For example, I found a cell phone with a pretty cool little screen on it. If I could find a schematic I could figure out how to run it without blowing it up. Without the schematic I'm going to have to guess which is power and which is video.
I remember in the good old days, not only was it legal to hack the stuff you bought, you actually OWNED the stuff you bought. Heck, I'm old enough to remember back when all electronics came with schematics! I'd love to have schematics for the stuff I buy now.
I live in the midwest of the US. Supermarkets here have little motorized carts for disabled people. But the vast majority of people who do use them are severely obese people. I.e., people who are basically too fat to walk.
I realize that the supermarkets think they're doing these people a favor. But I'd think an hour of walking around a store would be much better for them.
To justify the high costs of CDs, the end of the article included a breakdown of the costs associated with CDs.
The music industry claims that a whopping $2.40 of every CD sold goes to marketing/promotion. If that's true, and if it's also true that 50 Cent's new CD sold 7 million copies, that means that the label spent a whopping $16,800,000 marketing it. Do you find that hard to believe?
The labels also claim, than in addition to the $1.70 profit they receive from each CD sold, they also suffer a whopping 2.91 in "label overhead." So 50 Cent's label had $20,370,000 in overhead in relation to that one CD?! 20 million dollars in overhead to release a CD?! Wow!!! How can they possibily stay in business with THOSE costs?!
Oh, I agree. But drugs were also used against white people who disagreed with the government, e.g., John Lennon. Like I said, ANYONE, any where, anytime.
And while P2P users are probably mostly white, the vast majority of music sold in the inner-city is pirated.
You don't have to support either. If Walmart gets lower prices, the music industry will be forced to give lower prices to all major retailers. You get cheaper CDs either way.
If Walmart truly sells every 1 out of 5 CDs sold, it should simply start signing major artists directly. That way Walmart could keep even more of the profits.
There is a Burger King/AOL advertisement about kids getting pulled over by a cop. They were essentially asked if the music they were listening to was stolen.
Will this be our future? Will an MP3 player in a car give probable cause to search for more stolen goods?!
I've always thought the real intent of drug laws were to give the government the ability to arrest anyone for any reason at any time. That's because there is no victim to testify against the person, only the cop who says he saw the person with drugs. And because it allegedly happens directly in front of the cop, the government doesn't have to worry about the person coming up with any alibi defense.
I think that copyright enforcement will become the new "victimless" crime of choice.
Putting a camera in a phone is cool, but putting a GPS in a phone would be cool AND useful.
Put a robot in one of these and I'd consider buying one! Or two!

General Motors has decided to charge the same price whether you drive on two or four lane highways.

In other words, Tom's site is worthless.
The Roswell crash occured in 1947. Or did it take the US government 7 years to figure out how to use the technology found in the crash?!

I'm only quoting and agreeing with what YOU said. If that's an ad-hominem attack, you should look in the mirror.
I'll agree with you on this point, you certaily value "things" in life MUCH more than I EVER will!

7" widescreen touch screen, and it's only 250 bucks!

And you really believe that?
I'm glad you came to your senses at the end!
