All I can say is bravo for the dude. If the movie does well hurray if not atleast he got to fulfill his dream. Im sure we are all a little envious. I'm goin to see it just to support a guy who pushed hard for the perfection of his dream. Also nay-sayers remember Blade Runner wasn't that much a success either when it first came out but its one of the pivotial points in Sci-Fi movies. I think this will be of similar importance.
Come on guys. This article is one of the WORST articles Ive seen yet. Who let the CEO's on this message board. Outsourcing does not benefit anyone but the well payed higher echelon of people in the corporations and the countries which we provide our jobs. You can NOT compete with other countries who have unfair trade practices and whos cost of living is far below ours. The only outcome is that the quality of living in the US will drop as will wages. Stop feeding us this third rate swill and come up with some decent economic principles to advocate your beliefs. Until then STOP putting this fecal on the main page.
Another problem with the cancelation is that another FINE HDTV show is gone. Reality shows dont broadcast in HDTV and Angel takes total advantage of the aspect ratio and the high quality picture. Right now only CSI, Alias and Smallville can even hold a candle to Angel in HDTV quality.
Remember TV isnt about putting out quality shows. Its all about money. Its alot like outsourcing. Doesnt matter the quality just the cost and return. And they wonder why HBO and the cable networks are starting to gain in ratings. Lets slap on another crap reality.
It was one of the best shows on TV and will be greatly missed.
The only reason I watched UPN was Enterprise and Jake. I know NO one else who watches any other show. Although Enterprise feels strained I believe it has a great potential. They just need to get new writers and leave out the softcore porn.
Well every time i ride my bike under powerlines a spark goes from the main bar on the bije and shocks my nads. Id say that is a big concern. It doesnt feel good at all.
A nation without an allegiance is not a nation. We are not a democracy but a democratic republic. We are a group of dissimilar peoples who come together with an agreement or an allegiance to the one nation and the desire to make it work. If you became a citizen of this great country you would have sworn off all other allegiances. So your belief that we shouldnt have an allegiance is pure ignorance. Learn what a democracy is and why plato decided it was flawed. Then take a look at a democratic republic is and learn why we became that instead of a democracy.
Im a little confused at this one also. If you get a Zenith HDTV receiver it outputs VGA. Maybe this has a tad more inputs then the zenith. When these puppies get down to 100$ then itll be worth every penny.
Im not sure if this was caught but the following is incorrect. "After federal and state anti-trust authorities shot down DirecTV's purchase of EchoStar recently" Echostar was going to purchase direcTV.
