    Right? this study directly applied glysophate, didn't account for environmental 'half life of it' and was on 100 bees. so, yeah. I look forward to the follow up studies. Notice these tend come out as we go into fall/winter? because winter die off is normal, but the multi billion dollar organic industry can use it as a scare tactic.

    Yeha, HODL It isn't bigger, and it will never be mainstream currency. It isn't secure or anonymous. Wallets get hacked. People computers get viruses. SO on.

    Most gold is used in industry. only about 25% of gold is in bars/coins. 5% used by banks .4% for ETFs. about 50% is jewelry, and about 9% is used in electronics. https://www.statista.com/stati... so no, not 'minor' industrial usages.

    You can only be modded as insightful becasue people have no idea about PBS...which is a shame. There are members in our (US) government that are stepping way out of bounds. So far in fact, that I believe it is news for everywhere. yes, 8 years ago it would have been different, but then the community wasn't trying to fight for basic rights. I would also like to point out that the FCC has never gone against the PBS, ever.They would show nudity, and foul language. Quite frankly, a government agency saying what you are not allow to say is, in fact, about one of the most basic freedoms in the consitution.

    gladly, as long as a get a piece of the gross amount my software has saved the company. I was on a team of 30 developers that built a system that saved a large financial organization many hundreds of million of dollar a year. So, if I got 1/2 % per quarter, I'd be very well off. But we got a football instead.

    " iTunes downloads can only be played on software and hardware SUPPLIED BY ONE VENDOR" funny, I downloaded some music from iTunes, and I play it in my car(not an apple product),anything that plays .mp3(whether or not it is an apple product, and my computer(not apple). It is far less draconion then the MS format. I would go as far to say it's as reasonable as a purchased CD. yes, quality is less, however I mostly listen to music in my car. Apple is a vertical monopoly. That means they control everything the effects their products.(nutshell) More importantly, a monopoly in and of itself is not bad. Now, if you would like to point out some way that Apple has ABUSED their monopoly, please feel free to respond.

    OTOH, as more and more non signartistest are making more and more money through iTunes, They will become a force of there own(within the music industry). iTune could become a defacto label. Plus, if your unsigned, but your downloads show a strong demand, the artist will have more negiotable power. Perhaps finally being able to negotiate on a per albuim bases. No more 7 year contracts.

    You think getting involved in the mid-east is sticky, Betting involved in Africa would be madness. Whose incharge? are the authorized to be in charge? do we just back whoever happens to be sitting on a seat of government now? Do we just go in a slaughter everybody? What would people like you say if we just ent there, and started exerting control? started carving it into more states? There is no person the world will say "Back him". For anybody we back, half the world will be against us. Suddam is a bad, bad man, a torturer murderer, poisoner of his own people. Are there worse? probably but where do we start? They one good thing about IRAQ is that pretty much everybody disliked Saddam. Except the french who violated are agreement and still used him to make lots of money. For the record, I don't think Bush handles Iraq correctly at all, I am not defending the path he choose to take. I am just saying the world is far too complicated to line up all the people commeting atrocities, and then fight against all the ones that everyone agrees upon. So, what have you done to try and change things? If you haven't contact your representitves, then you are just a whiny bastard who needs to either get off the pot, or shit.

    is better consumer laws for software. Here is one I'd like to see: 30 day return policy on software. Hell, I could go to Kmart and retunr used underware, but I can't return the piece of software that doesn't do what it says it does. This is exactly why I will download something and see if it's worth my money, If it is,Then I buy it. If it's not, I remove it.

    I see your point, however when I delivered pizza(in the SNOW and the walk to the door was UPHILL each way...) I made substantially more then that. I made about 6 bucks and hour, plus 23 cents a mile, plus tips. On average I would take home 30-50+ dollars in tips, plus my 50 bucks for my check, and another 20-50 bucks for mileage. When I delivered for Godfathers pizza, I got another 1-3 bucks per run instead of mileage. This was in the late 80's. I knew a guy who pulled in 40k a year delivering pizzas.
