Let's say I want a song in Mp3 format- I can get it. I can also get it in Ogg-Vorbis format, or any format I want. Do I want to listen to music and not buy any? Can do it for 50$ a year (which, when compared to XM Radio and the like, is cheaper). And then I can grab music to DO WHATEVER I WANT to for 79 cents a pop. In whatever format I like.
Because it searches as you type. It's fast for me (G5 PowerMac), and it works insanely cool. Let's say I'm looking for one of short stories, and I can't remember anything about it, cept it had to do with bugs and monkeys.
When I start typing the drop down list changes the more I type, expanding and contracting while searching inside folders. So as I type, let's say I finish the word bugs and I still don't see it, so I type in monkeys and it brings it up. It's fast and slick and it's great because it searches inside and out.
On windows there is a third part app that does this->

If this was being done to a US citizen by the US governemnt, than I would agree with you. Facism is one the government abuses it's own population. Torture happens in war. War is filled with terrible aweful things that should never happen. But are not a sign of a fascist state.
Dell Laptops come shipped with SpyWare installed. No kidding. Were I work we got a few new Dells and we had to manually go in and uninstall Gator and some other nasties that had been put on there by Dell itself. Disgusting.
