I'll stick with the best shredder going, Microsoft Windows, every six months I have to do a complete reinstall anyway which is a fairly good wiping of the disk.
Aside from the fact that it would be unable to distinuish between the pigmentation of various races it would also fall completely flat on those with an interest in rubber & latex.
>Yeah, aside from the bombings, the British Troops, the ordered executions and other terrorist activity Ireland is totally crime free!
Most if not all of these activities occur in Northern Ireland which is a different country to Ireland. There are gun dumps, training camps in the south and some of these weapons have found their way into crimes in Ireland but::fingers crossed:: the peace process will eliminate this source of weapons. Current murder rate in Ireland is averaging out at 1 a week but unfortunately is getting higher. At the start of this century Ireland was a heavily armed society after the war of independence and civil war but steps were taken to prohibit gun ownership.
Yeah, I own one of these little puppies and its good for simple snapshots. It's small enough to fit in my bag so I can take snaps or a number of images and as such it has replaced me old Kodak APS camera, I do wish it had higher resolution than 640*480 and more memory than 4mb or at least a CF slot. I bought it as my first digital camera and it I reckon I'll never buy a camera that requires film again.
There's also the chance that the password is 'secret' or 'magic' though.
In some countries modems have to be registered

As far as I know (not much) in some parts of Asia (I think the newspaper article said Indonesia) modems have to be registered with the state, an unregistered modem is punishable with jail time.
How can you talk about the BBC2 series and not at least mention Rex, his first robot Recyclops with the tongue was cool and his robot in the last series fliping out of the way of the house robot was excellent! Also his habit of ignoring the competition and going for the house robots has to worth a mention
I'm a little confused here. Are you looking for a job in the six counties of Northern Ireland under UK control or are you looking for a job in the 3 counties of Ulster in the republic?
I like rain!! If you don't like the weather in Ireland simply wait 5 minutes and a whole bunch of new weather will come along. ps. As well as the rain you forgot the wind, lots of wind. Especially if your waiting for public transport on Sandyford Industrial Estate for an hour for a bus to turn up!
I am a massive fan of Red Dwarf but the show is also running out of steam like the Trek:franchise. IMHO the last 2 series have failed big time in the humour and sci/fi.
Agreed but not all developers release versions for all processors therefore it amounts to different versions when one CE machine cannot run a commercially available piece of software written for a different processor. At least with Linux you can compile from the source. Me I've used Epoc 16/32 and Palm OS for my portable needs so I may be a little biased against CE.
If I remember rightly even Windows CE has different binaries for the different processors it runs on. This means that there are different versions of CE in my view.
I can't agree with that. As I type this mine has just beeped to remind me that it's binday at work. The todo list has the programs I have to work on today. The memo pad has 30-40 tech support notes that cover 40% of what I do (and growing) and when our NT server goes down it contains all my company's phone numbers. Then I have AvantGo installed so I have something to read when I'm on the bus in the morning. I also download etext from Project Gutenberg and read those as well. I could buy a newspaper but AvantGo is free and some of the etexts are expensive to buy in hardcopy. Sure I have a few games on it but I also have games on my desktop. Overall a very useful tool. I used to own a Psion 5 but after 2 years it died and while I will get another (probably the large clamshell design supposed to be released later this year) the Pilot 3x has found a permanent spot in my bag.

Is it just me or has anybody else gone through 6-7 copies of the hitch hiker series as books loaned never come back?

Laundry day would be much less risky when you can send a robot on a search and destroy misson for the worst offendors.

As a European, I resemble that remark :-)

Thankfully not but I had to calm down the Tux on my monitor after reading that one :-)

Part of sinning is feeling guilt and I reckon (having lived with cats, dogs and a few birds) that animals are capable of guilt.

Is this the real reason for the end of the X-files or is there a more sinister one? :-)
