Not really true. A C3-800 is about the speed of a P2-350/400 at most things, but because the Hard Drive and the rest of the system is more modern than most P2 systems, the C3 systems seem much quicker. http://www.joshwa1.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/pcs_mini_i tx_intro.htm

I'm sure they do the actual manufacture of the PCBs, and CPUs in extreme dust free, clean environments, but just the assembling of the computer / putting the parts together does not need to be dust free, otherwise all the "whitebox" PCs would not work and there would be no market for those PCs. Why are Microsoft seemingly seeking to stop spam, when there own hotmail service is the most spam prone email service I have ever used. I get about 10 spams into my inbox everyday, (and another 30 into my junk mail folder), even though I have fairly high "so called" spam protection enabled!

Compare that to my yahoo account, in which I have never ever recieved any spam in the 12months that I've been using it...

surely Microsoft are doing something wrong somewhere? How is it that Yahoo can make it so that I recieve ZERO spam, and Hotmail can't?

I know this goes against what Linux seems to be about, but if Linux was developed solely by Redhat (chosen only because I recently had much more success with Redhat 8 than Mandrake 9), then there would be much more uniformity (sp?) - all users would know exactly what Linux looked like, there would be much more credibility for it, because everybody would be working on the same pie. Other features that Linux could do with is the colour calibration stuff that Apple does, plus postscript fonts etc, so what you see, when printed out is exactly the same as it is on screen.
