Well, off the top of my head, you'll probably have two competing effects (assuming this is real and the stuff stays emulsified when you pour it down the drain):
1. Dissolved oils/other hydrophobic molecules will reach more areas. Which is bad.
2. Dissolved oils will get diluted in the environment more, possibly to non-toxic levels. Which is good.
Now, which of those would outweigh the other, who knows?
Nonsense. "Moore's Law", such as it is, tells us only what may be possible--if we take appropriate action. Newton's Law tells us what is true, and will continue to be true no matter what we do.
Rivals would still be able to lease access to an entire phone line, but at a costlier rate than just leasing the high-frequency portion used for DSL. The lower frequency on the copper wire carries voice calls.
This seems to indicate that you're right, but you'll also end up paying a good bit more for it. Unless I'm misreading...

The Comptroller of Maryland was planning on cracking down on people who buy expensive goods in Delaware (where there is no sales tax) and bring them back into Maryland.
He got made fun of so much for it (mostly in the Sun's letter page) that I think he eventually backed down, but the point remains that Maryland could have collected taxes on those goods.
On the other hand, anybody willing to put up with the vegan meals (that they love to substitute in for vegetarians) on most airlines is certainly deranged, and probably dangerous.

I wouldn't call it otherwise myself; I was simply saying that if we are going to be pedantic, there is a difference.

On the plus side: if we outlaw enough fun, any terrorists in the country will gladly beat themselves into blissful oblivion just to end the monotony.

Gee, a company producing an overpriced, overhyped scooter of dubious legality for city use is having trouble selling it? What an utter surprise.
