  1. Files they've just taken and not bought or deleted on The File Sharing Report · · Score: 5, Insightful

What about all of the files that these people continue to listen to, but don't delete or buy legit copies of? How much of their music do they actually own? My friends like to tell me that they wouldn't have bought the CD anyway, so downloading it doesn't hurt anybody. This may be true in some cases, but I think most of the time people just decide that they wouldn't have bought it post download.

Does it count as crossing party lines if you're a Libritarian and your girlfriend has no party affiliation? If so I'm breaking major ground. What's the point of a girlfriend if you can't argue, anyway?

Sounds like the same kind of program. I also saw the version with just bars for the brainwaves, and those rockets probably each represnted a type of wave.

  4. My experience on Playing Games With One's Brainwaves · · Score: 2, Interesting

I've actually played a rudimentery version of this. It was a skiing game where you thought "center" to center yourself and left or right to move left and right. I also once played a Pacman game where the more of a certain type of brain wave you had the faster Pacman went. I became quite good at this.

People called 16-bit durring the late 32-bit era, I don't see why 32-bit wouldn't be retro now. It certainly will be when the next set of consoles come along.

Alt is very useful, Alt+F4 and Alt+Tab being the most common. Scroll lock is useful is you use spreadsheets often, but it really could be done in software. Pause is still used in some games, and I find PgUp, Home and their kin to be useful in word. To tell the truth I think Caps Lock and Num Lock could be eliminated. What was the last time anyone used the function keys that are on the numpad?

  9. My hybrid on Hybrid/Electric Vehicles: Should I Buy? · · Score: 1

I, myself, have a hybrid. It's the Honda Civic Hybrid and I love it. It has much better pickup than some gas powered cars do. I have had no problems, besides the fact that the power and engine useage gages are a bit distracting. Oh, this is a small thing, but when you stop the engine cuts turns off completely, therefore it is completely silent and without viboration. Since it has that big electric engine it starts the gas one fast, so that you don't notice any pause.

Think about the ammount of money it would take to monitor all the mouse movements of everybody all the time. Simply the ammount of traffic on the 'net this would create is insane. That's all beside the point when you realize the technology is for anilization of a pictogram you make with your mouse. If someone who is wanted sends his own pictogram over the net he has the the same chance to be caught as a criminal who sends his name or credit card number.

  12. Signatures on Sign Your Name Online With A Mouse · · Score: 3, Interesting

Signatures are useless, there are no good way to check them. Hell, my signature seems to change every time I write it and nothing happens. The mouse signature will be at least slightly secure if there is software to check it. It would really be best if we switched to a differnt system for this kind of stuff. Thumb print or something. I know you can reproduce someone's thumb print, but it's not THAT easy.

Well, women don't have giant camel toes.

Also if women saw men looking like that they would be disgusted. I've noticed women like clothing on men that hides sexual readyness (baggy clothing, no make-up etc.); probably because they women are plagued with the over sexuality of men already.
