    Yeah I can imagine being on the net at midnight, downloading stuff from England at 0.01bit second, and then bam, it drops at 0 because of the sun... And screaming and crying...WHY you damn sun ? Why did you have to show up again??

    I'm pretty sure Justin didn't work on Winamp 3 at all, which would explain why it sucks.. And on Winamp.com there's a lil' piece of text saying: ALMOST AS NEW AS WINAMP 2 Nullsoft Winamp3 Meaning probably nobody working for Nullsoft use Winamp 3 either..

    I setup a Jabber server at work already, I use Gaim on my workstation, the Windows people use Rival which lacks some features (group messages) but still works pretty damn well..
    I meant "Seeing my Emails instantly" more than "having instant messages"...
    I don't know IMAP at all though, maybe I should check it out..

    Can you tell me exactly what is wrong with X ? Ok, it could use a little help in the fonts department, but it runs on old machines, it runs on my P4, it runs on PDAs, it runs on mainframes, it's client/server, doesn't force you to use a particular vm...

    You might want to try bitlbee, which is the GAIM core + a lil' IRC "server", so you join #bitlbee and the people online are your contact list.

    I can do that in Canada too, except that it doesn't work with some other countries... for example, I can easily SMS to Sweden, Australia, but not San Francisco. Annoying.

    Everybody knows that that amount of pages and books is useful only to measure data, not page scanning speed ! I say that this baby's scanning speed should be calculated in raw bits, for the sake of simplicity !
