    Not quite impressive, my router is a pentium 166 MMX and it has been running continuously since 1997, overclocked to 225Mhz (bus from 65 to 72 && cpu from 166 to 200.

    Everyone surfing the net ends up visiting a webpage that is running on an open source operating system. So yes, everyone benefits. And don't I remember seeing in "Gangs of New York" there being rival firemen? Everyone's house could catch a flame on day. Everyone's pc might get hacked one day.

    I was diagnosed with ADHD as a child and I kinda forgot about it. Is this possible, I mean, is it possible I could have this and not nottice it? I understand ADHD exists in degrees. Also, can someone cure from it? Please give serious answers.

    I think he means that the cost of all this should be calculated into the devices itself, phones, nics, ... and that anyone of these devices could be connect-point for any other another device.

    I don't like wine since I read the story about someone getting infected with the YAHA or whatever due to wine getting too good. I like to seperate things, so I put win2k in a second X. Can do everything (even play movies) except playing games, we still reboot for that.

    Ironic really, db4allen (interpreted by a dutch speaking person) means "database for everyone" and if it is typed in google as a KEYWORD, ... Well I don't think he meant this database to be for everyone ;)

    when an article appeared on ZDNet (Belgium) about Filemaker Pro's being accessible through google with a simple search. So I searched for phpmyadmin... I downloaded like 10500 mails from other people from a webmail service once called "mailalien.com".. Got like 20000+ passwords off porn sites (with their mail addresses) and I believe I can just place an order for some new pentiums if I want. I don't call this hacking, I can screw up like 70+ sites in 5 seconds without having to pass ANY form of security. Just did a test, this db is STILL accessible, unbelievable... Try "db4allen"

    My trusty old Mercedes 190E (2 liter injection powered engine), built in the 1st year of production (1984), they made these for like 10 years. It still kicks all of my friends cars asses, muhahaha. But I live in Europe... The other has to be the telephone line I guess. I live in Belgium and these lines are lying here for like more than 50 years. It reaches 3.3Mbit today and the future only looks brighter, not to mentions those lucky scandinavians. I'm using TV cable (8Mbit), but still...

    Well, I once installed windows 95 on a 386 with 4Mb ram. So a 32bit operating system on a 16 bit system. It took about 30 minutes only just to boot the thing.

    On the other hand, my router is a 200MMX with 80Mb ram. It was once my desktop machine and I coded a LAMP site on it. Used icewm as window manager. All was fine, if u didn't use kde / gnome / java.

    The difference is, you can boot allmost any linux distro on any machine without much performance problems and then CHOOSE the apps you want to use knowing they won't hit performance that hard.

    On a windoze machine, well you all know...
