What you're talking about is, in essence, a suspension system. Which is used to overcome a rough ride.
What you're all trying to say is "The smoothness of a ride is determined by how much axle movement is passed along to the rider". Or something like that.
Maybe. Some strategy guides are useless crap, others are good and can point out some things you would have otherwise missed. I would LOVE to have a strategy guide for fighting games that included videos. I'm not good at them, and seeing the combos in action would help me out a lot. A strategy guide for a plaformer, on the other hand, is almost pointless.
Probably not, but it's the most apt description for it. The later levels in the game were DAMN hard, even for my "I beat Sonic 3 in my first extended play of the game" ass. At the time I was total hardcore platformer KING UNPARALLELED and the bonus levels in that game just completely DESTROYED me.
Please note I make no claim as to my platforming skills right now. It's been years since I last bounced on an enemies head.;-)
Thank you! Cheers! Generic comment of gratitude! I'm going to wait for the next stable release of FC before I upgrade. I had some problems moving from Redhat 8 to FC1, and if I run into those again I want to be prepared... so there's a lot of backing up coming my way in the next month or so.
Does anyone have links to some articles that details kernel upgrades that aren't written by and for programmers? I really want to update my Fedora box to 2.6, but the documentation I've seen for installing a new kernel pretty much assumes it's something you've done before.
Mickey Mania on the Sega CD. Excellent graphics, hard as fuck, and super mega ultra fun.
McDonaldland Adventures on the Genesis. Yeah, you heard me. A licensed MCDONALDS game, and it was great. Why? It was developed by none other than... TREASURE! Developers of such greatness as Gunstar Heroes, Alien Soldier, and Radiant Silvergun. I beat it the second day of my rental, but it wasn't easy (I was just DAMN good at the time.:D ).
It's my parents, my sister, and me. Try finding a 3 bedroom 1500 sq ft. apartment/condo/townhouse/house near downtown Fort Worth for under $1000 a month. It isn't gonna happen.

So is Suse, Mandrake, Lindows, and about a dozen other Linux distributors. You gonna bitch about them too, or just Redhat because they pulled their head out of their ass and decided to actually make money instead of existing on the brink of financial ruin (Hi, Mandrake!)?

Not neccesarily so. A derived work would have to be modified. I don't think anyone has ever called RPM's a 'derived work'.

Uh... no.
What that paragraph states is that you CAN put the software on as many computers as you want, but if you do you're not getting any tech support from Redhat. This is the support contract, not the software contract.
They were at college. They probably called up the guy at IBM that handles giving shit out and said "Hey, IBM Giving Shit Out Dude, give some shit to us." Or something to that effect. If you're doing some kind of research I'm sure IBM and most other companies would be willing to cut you a deal or donate hardware to your project.

Don't forget the hairstylists, consultants, and telephone sanitizers.
I live in Fort Worth. If I have to go to Dallas, I can either driver there or take the DART train. Problem with the train is that there is only one stop even remotely close to here, about 10 miles away. Add in that the last train to run back this direction is at 5:00PM and it's a bit easier to understand why not many people use it.
Okay, and for those of us that have to pay for housing, what do you suggest? People live in the suburbs because it's cheap housing. Go price some houses or apartments in a downtown area.
I never said anything of the sort, dipshit. I said 'Socialist and Communist'. I am referring to the history of both as separate entities. Take some lessons in basic reading, moron.
I was making $11k a year doing QC for a guitar manufacturer. It sure as fuck wasn't a sweatshop. I mean, yeah, the warehouse was fucking HOT in the summer and I sweat a lot out there, but I don't recall any rape or abuse.
Unless having to listen to the multitude of bad 80's metal wannabes that sent in press kits looking for endorsements counts as abuse.
Not even the most efficient win. It's whoever provides the best product at the best price point. Make a shitty product for $5 and sell fuckall. Make an excellent product for $50 and sell them all day.
Who the fuck wants to use the same blender for 20 years? Besides, that's not a function of overseas production that's a function of CHEAP production. Shitty products are shitty products, point of origin doesn't factor into it.
Hey, dipshit, you do realize you basically just proved my point, correct?
I suggest human interaction, and a lot of it. FAST.

I made no assumptions. I said 'If'. Learn the meaning of a hypothetical. Besides that, you went on to prove my point.
