But because not all customers will take advantage of the offer, McDonald's actual spending on the campaign will probably be in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
Something tells me that Apple will find a way to make the 1 billion from McDonalds even if people don't take advantage of the offer.
I'm with Sweeney. I for one would never prefer a hard drive full of mp3 (or any other format) over a nice cd rack filled with my favorite artists' cds.
I think my use of downloadable music services will be to purchase the music from cds that only have 1 or maybe 2 good songs on them. I'd rather spend $2 and get the songs I like than $15 for a new cd that I'll never listen to.
I'm very excited to go see this movie and plan on going this weekend. Also, related to The Matrix, a friend told me today about a website called The Meatrix. It's a Flash movie that aims to reveal the truth behind factory farming and where most of our meat and other animal products come from. Very interesting.
This was a great satirical black comedy that made fun of the zombie movies that take them selves WAY too seriously. Return of the Living Dead is the tale of a small town that is plagued by a hoard of running, screaming and brain-eating zombies after two men working for a medical supply warehouse release a toxic gas into the atmosphere.
Wonderful movie!

I wouldn't bother window-shopping, this is the absolute best Mp3 manager/player there is...
