The fact of the matter is, Adrian did not crack these networks. Most, if not all of them, left gaping holes that amounted to revolving doors at the front end of their networks. His "access device" was a web browser... you know, most likely the same one you are using to read this right now.
I think what the real issue comes down to (hold one moment while I find my tinfoil hat) is that in the course of scouring the NY Times intranet, Adrian was able to come across the personal details of some VERY influential people in this country. And that, I'm sure, had to make the Times looks like a bunch of asses.
As if the Jason Blair fiasco wasnt enough.
Oh, so you're the jackass that keeps calling me. Look, you dont work for SBC, you arent calling on their behalf (I know because my account manager says they have nothing to do with you.) So not only are you harrassing me, wasting my time and being rather annoying... but also lying. So do us all a favor. STOP.
Are you kidding me!?
SWG has the highest subscription cost of an MMOG out there. Couple those fee's with the MASSIVE amounts of cash that both Sony and LucasArts have hiding in their banks and your argument becomes moot.
There may be excuses for a lack of content, but cost is not one of them.
The game has tremendous potential, but in its current state is a far cry from ready. Content is lacking, there are still some pretty serious bugs. 90% of the resources required to craft objects have not even been introduced to the game yet. Lag is an issue as is rubberbanding (most people reporting 2-5 FPS in the cities). Problems with being able to shoot through solid rock...
I canceled my pre-order, however that does not mean that I wont play the game... eventually. It just needs time to mature and I refuse to pay to continue to be a beta tester.
I think Mr. Davis could offer a bit of explanation on this one. He's let the budget sink into the abyss and is looking for anything he can grab on to in order to keep himself in power for the remainder of his term.

I believe the statement goes: "If your tinfoil is still on the roll and not on your head, you've already been compromised."

Add to that list the other all-time classic NES sports games: Super Techmo Bowl Major League *sniff* Think I'll go look for an old console on E-bay...
