    Why not just put "GEEK" across it?

    For a couple of years, the stigma attached to these devices will reek stronger than walking dressed up as a Vulcan or Klingon to a Trek convention.

    First, this is not whining.



    Second, why open their franchise?



    Maybe I should have told my life story about how I also didn't find it interesting and after some schooling didn't wish to be a pharmacist.


    I just figured to stick with the topic at hand.


    It all boils down to YES I agree that corporate america is taking over every facet of our lives. Is this a good thing? No, I don't believe so. This is my opinion. You can take it or leave it.


    The people with the money will continue to make the money. There is a growing disparity between the rich and the middle class, which are slowly becoming the poor.

    I went to college to be a pharmacist.

    I had envisioned to get my degree. Eventually move into my own business, with my own little pharmacy on the corner.

    When in school, other people in the program did make me see the light.

    "How can you do that, with CVS, Genovese and Rite Aids starting to pop-up all over the place? They'll run you out of business."

    Here I am in a career I like, computers.

    This was just one small story, but I bet there are millions more like it.

    To see what they could get for the certain product?

    Hmmm. If the price on widgets is $4.99, 400 out of 500 people buy it that view it. If the price is set at $5.99, 325 people out of 500 buy it that view it.

    Hmm, in the first instance, I get 1996.00 out of it.

    Hmm, in the second instance, I get 1946.75 out of it.

    This is the way I see it.

    I take it as Amazon is fucking with me.

    So guess what. I don't like being fucked with.

    There's too many places to buy products and too much competition out there. I for one, will be taking my business elsewhere, even if I pay a buck more somewhere else. As a matter of fact, I will be not even trying Amazon in the future.

    I will take this as a lesson learned.

    this subject. What implications will ipv6 have on the internet at whole?

    Of course the 128 bit addressing makes for virtually unlimited IP address as compared to 32.

    There will be tons more header information with ipv6. Will every router created need to be modified/scrapped in order to use this?

    Will there be an ipv6 standard for every OS?
    I don't see a mac using it without of course it's ip stack being changed. So you develop a new IP stack.

    This one boggle me for now. Will get up to speed.
