I'm sure the wacko-environmentalist will do anything they can to keep the 3g towers out of Yosemite, Death Valley and other "wilderness" places. Even if they make the towers look like trees, I'm sure there are some goofy regulations to keep "progress" out of these areas. Not to mention the payoffs the cellular carriers would have to pay to federal, state & local officials to get "permission" to install these. It's expensive, and they have to look at the cost vs benefit to install towers in places like that. Maybe we can get Obama to come up with a cellular "stimulas" plan LOL.

If ICANN ever give up "control" of the internet, so to speak, and they give it to the UN (useless nations), then it will be like that every where. People have become sheep, we give up our freedoms for (so called) security. Look at the patriot act. I'm a law and order type of person, but ANYTHING the government does that takes away my rights scares the crap out of me. We already have thought police.......what do you think political correctness is about? Can't speak your mind anymore, might offend someone. We've been lead down this path, and, unfortunately, I don't think we can recover. 1984 is here, it just took a few more decades to come to be.

of the internet, it will continue to be as it is. A free flow (sometimes illegal) of ideas, content. If the day ever comes, that the UN (useless nations) get "control" over the internet, it will end up becoming a politically correct waste of time. There will be censorship big time. Don't confirm to their views? NO internet for you! I don't care for 99.999% of the garbage (in my opinion) from the huffington post, but, to quote a corny phrase, I will defend your right to say it. Just because I don't agree with something published in a book, magazine, radio or newspaper, it's a freedom of speech thing with me. When you start putting restrictions, no matter how insane or vulgar the speech, you end up running the risk of taking down the entire structure. You end up with "though police". Those too young should go back and read the untainted history of the world and look into what happened to Russia after the revolution, Hitler's Germany, the little dictator in Italy and others, who worked to suppress individual thinking. Freedom of speech is a wonderful thing, but, there are those on the left AND the right of the debate who want to taylor it to what they think. No, leave it alone, you have to take the bad with good.

The execs at fox (or whoever sets the schedule) put this show on a FRIDAY evening. I don't know how it is now, but when I was a kid, we didn't stay home (especially during a school year) to watch tv. We were out running around, going to the movies, on a date, raising hell. If the people who produced this show were to somehow relaunch this show on another network, say USA or Sci-Fi, and stick it in a good time slot, it would do better. Sticking a show on a Friday evening is like sticking nails in a coffin.

Someone tried to say that in an emergency, the ham radio community would still work, because the power would be down in the area where BPL was used, so interference wouldn't be an issue.
