Yeah, you're right. I have a friend who uses OSes in English instead of Spanish just because many things aren't translated the proper way.
One more thing, hehe,...
I have just written an article about the way of government that many countries need such as Spain.
Please feel free to send me any comments. (My address is at the end of this post).Thankz

Well, the Spanish way of government is really out-of-date. Damn!
The Autonomous Communities are just a joke. Central government has a lot of power, yeah that's it, it's too powerful. They Autonomous Communities are yelling "we need a Federal Republic system" Don't you hear it? - Say yes to States, no to "Autonomous Communities")!
King? What the hell does a king in a country in the 21th century? Guess it. You're right. Nothing. There is no need for king in a democratic system, indeed he's earning money the easy-way- doing nothing. In democracy all people are equal. In a monarchy all people are equal except the king and his "real" family. All the speeches of the king are written by other people and the king has no responsability (he's above everything including the law) in what he says and reads (in 99% cases he doesn't speak, just read texts written by other "common" people). Sorry, your majesty, your highness,... , but you better be going.
In 1936 there was a referendum asking the Spanish citizens if they really wanted a king, and the majority of people say no to the king, yes to the Republic, so Spain became a Republic. Years later a f*cking dictator (Franco) re-established the monarchy in Spain. From that date until today, Juan Carlos is the king and owns the "kingdom" of Spain. I have to say that the king Juan Carlos is one of the richest men in Europe thanks to Franco. I have to note that thanks to Hitler and Mussolini Franco won the civil war.
Besides he has a lot of property and budget from the State for him (all Spanish people is paying taxes to support the "Familia Real"), under the dictatorship government, Franco gave to the king lots of things that they were owned by "regular" Spanish people that didn't think the same way as Franco. The king Juan Carlos is a sign of backwardness and is the shadow of the past. In a few years, won't exist monarchy countries, hopefully.
Democracy and a Federal Republic way of government is what many countries really need.

don't like it? don't use it. You are free to choose. However I guess Red Hat.0 releases as unstable ones is just a myth. I'm currently using Red Hat 8.1beta3 and works great. However I also like to use Slack 9 (I prefer it to Debian - got slack?)

When I read your subject I thought you were going to say Red Hat is the same as Microsoft, which is not true. I agree with you. Red Hat has become sucessesfully thanks to their hard work. No monopolies,... And they well always have enough competency to face. And they aren't focused on working on their distro, they are focus on bringing Linux to the top!! RPM are used by many distros., etc
Don't hate big companies because are big. Don't buy a product because it comes from a big company such as Microsoft.
n0dez
Well,... install Red Hat Linux 8.1beta3 and see it by yourself. More good GUI tools as usual. Many things have been improved.

Yeah, I agree. Red Hat Linux's unified desktop is really great. I have never seen Linux look like this. And you can customize it as well:) I use both Red Hat 8.1b3 and Slack 9. And I like both! This year is the everything9 year. Hehe Red Hat 9 and Slack 9. What I don't like is Debian... too confusing and many package problems. RPM and TGZ are just OK for me.
This a great moment to tell you that Slack rocks.
However, what I don't like is that the media cares little about Slackware. I'm a regular LinuxToday contributor and I sent the official annoucement to several sites and none of them published this news (excepting OSnews.com). Another thing that I don't like is that there are a few books about Slack and all of them are outdated (3 year or more depending on which book)... what about Slack training?
I also think that slackware.com needs more regular updates... [it was published the Slackware 9.0 rc1 only and not the rc2 and rc3]
Just say congratulations for Slackware and giving you some feedback.
I really like Slackware.

However, RedHat 8.1beta3 has been converted onto Red Hat 9.
I just wanted to tell everyone the good news about Slackware (Slack9). Sorry, I knew that it was offtopic.
n0dez
Whoops... you're right. However I have used other betas of Red Hat ending in .0 and didn't have any problem.

Try any Linux distro you want that comes with Gnome 2.2 and other stuff like OpenOffice, and you will notice that it's ready for the desktop.
...
Try RedHat, Slackware,
RedHat 8.0 comes with OpenOffice.
