If an application does not look right at a lower resolution level then it may not have been designed with a good majority of the users in mind. I think the best option is to design software at something like 800X600 and then add a class that resizes everything on load according to the screen resolution size. This way the program will look the same under any resolution. Particularly easy in VB if you know windows API stuff. I think this is how most screensavers are designed, if you look carefully they look the same no matter what resolution you run them at (except for some that try to be cheap and change the screen resolution on load).

Why in the world would the RIAA care about what the artists think. Look at how much they are paying them per cd compared to the profits going into their pockets. They have complained that people are buying less cd's at about 5% per year, if someone can contradict me on that fact plz post since I didn't check it. And that gives them less profit at an increasing rate, what company wouldn't be pissed and then try to do anything in their power to stop it.

If all the people in your office who committed a felony at some time in their life suddenly vanished, you would find yourself very lonely. ??? Please explain, I would like to argue. But if you mean to say that you are the only one in your office to have not commited a felony than ill bet you are lying. Who else here hasnt run over somebody and drove away. Look at the statistics, 1 in 4 women around us have been raped(Plz correct me if Im wrong on that statistic, I would really hope it is much less but this was the last number I heard). Chances are that its not the same man doing all this, therefore 1 in 4 men in the world might have commited a felony. I say 1 in 4 because some women may have been raped multiple times, and some men may have raped multiple women, so the number could go either way. Add on all the other drugs and types of felonies and we get back to the movie Dogma. For those of you that dont remember or havent seen it, there was a part where 2 angels went into a CEO meeting and killed all those who had broken at least one of the 10 commandments. out of like 20 people 1 woman was left alive(is that what you meant by finding yourself very lonely?).

This does not tell children to become criminals. To become a hacker as good as Mitnick you need to actually have brains. I, as many of you, live in America. Half the kids I know marry their sisters. There is no way they have an IQ high enough to do anything worse than downloading music from kazaa. And if they do hack when they are young, I say it wil be good for them. Might teach them to program, or learn how Networks work. Their parents will still be the main influence on how they turn out in the end.

But what about the car companies selling cars with top speeds of over 150. Is there a single place in America where the cops will let u go that fast. I dont remember the new laws in the states where there use to be no speed limits, but from what I heard, when you go over 70 they would give you a ticket for poluting the environment or something like that. So now the car companies are asking "You're not speeding in these cars, are you?" And "survey sez" when the speed limit is 55 most people answer that they are going 65. By your logic it may seem correct to sue car companies for making cars that can go that fast.

most one hit wonders arent standin next to highways because they never got any money, but because they were not smart enough to use it. i do not know the details of how much the one hits received for their work, but if it was anywhere in the vacinity of 1 mil, they could easily live of it without workin ever again. I heard somewhere, may have even been here, that most artist get the most profits from concerts rather than from selling cd's. Technically i think artists today get about 13 cents for every cd of theirs that is sold (not sure if real number, if anyone can vertify please do so), which just shows how much we arists actually get when you buy that 20 dollar cd from the store. it seems to me that if the artists are willing to accept such a low amount for every cd that they sell they understand that they are not going to become millionares from makin one cd.

It doesnt even matter, you can find/make cd-key generators for most software out there, and programs can be installed from iso files. And if you need to run the stuff w/ the cd in the driver all you have to do is use somethin like virtual drive. but most people in this community already know this so i dont know the point of posting this message.
