Well, was Merovingian once one of "The One's" that chose that door and was reinserted into the
matrix with special powers? Thus allowing him to live the lavish life he lives with kick ass
programs for both a wife and bodygaurds?
If neo was reinserted then would he also be able to exist within the new matrix with as an exiled program?
Are all of the former 5 "One's" still in the matrix acting as exiled programs? The Oracle? Maybe Seraph?

In ten years or so the birth rate will be well over a million people, while the death rate wont even break 450K. If that doesn't present overpopulation concerns for you then you are ignoring the evidence.
you dont think overpopulation will be a problem in western nations in the future? who's the dumbass?!?!? there were 637,000 births in the u.s. in 2000, and 247,000 deaths. birth rises about 12-20% per year, deaths stay about the same, what does that tell you?
Age-Retardation would definately intensify the over population problem. People want to cheat death, ignore it. It should be a natural part of life. Eventually this situation is gonna come to a head, and then we're gonna have lotteries to determine who can have children...food and energy rations and other such nonsense.

i dont have alot of legal backing on this, but the lab i work at is set up almost the same way. the only liscences we have are for the main machines in the north lab, all the machines on the floors below it, around 60 or so, access the top machines when using any windows program.
we have micorsoft recruiters come here and talk to students all the time, they're always in the lab, i think if it was a problem either #1, they would notice or #2, the school would have had problems when the acedemic computing department decided to set the lab up that way.
