The problem comes when the kids grow up and decide to use this against their former masters. Adults don't often switch sides unless immediate survivability is on the table.
We call them drones because they do not do actions (other than stabilization or stay on course) without initiating the action by a human. Robots do things automatically without user intervention - i.e car manufacturing by a robot is completely automated via sensory/trigger input unless a an interrupt is encounter to stop. In actuality we should be calling the remote operated vehicles (ROV) but drone rolls off the tongue easier.
This is plagiarism not copyright infringement. Yes there was a separate instance of CR infringement before the 2nd photo was taken. However, this photo is not even the same composition. Frankly if I were the original photographer I'd be insulted that some one would suggest that the original was being infringed on. The 2nd one is poorly framed and very in your face and amateur like.
Imagine one of their space battles. The trick would be individual stations monitors for each pilot but spectators and the strategists(callers) for the battles watching the large screen.
I've had similar experience.. the scenario your looking for is 1st responders hitting their sirens unexpectedly. Recently they have had better training and ambulances run at a snails pace nowadays so is becoming less of an issue. But in the 80s (Streets of SF/CHiPs/DoH) you really had to gtfo the way.
Different scenario.. You are half way past the side of a big rig. Its retreads start flying off do you stay at the same rate of speed - risking trailer sway; slow down - risking trailer sway, possible jack knife and running over retread that could disrupt your driving; or speed up and get the heck out of the situation.
I've seen some International students (U.S. here) put a module into a touch and do some software change and the touch becomes a phone. Not nearly as fast for download speeds but if what you want is already on the phone it saves a couple hundred bucks.
Encrypt - it's easy and gives you piece of mind. My residence was broken into - luckily they stole the two machines with no personal data on them. 1st thing I did after that scare was encrpt with truecrypt.
I'm on board with your comment but one item that I've seen actually help is detailed reports of color printer and photocopying. It's saved my department thousands of dollars; now we can afford the coffee and paper clips again.
Overseas is way too general. You can get some quality programming out of the Middle East, West Pac (from quality firms) and Eastern European countries. Just do your research. On the flip-side I can guarantee you can get crappy programming inside 'these' borders if you fail to research as well.
My sentiments are aligned with the Swiss response. However, how invested is Switzerland in the entertainment production business? I'll make an assumption that they would be more of a consumer country than a producer country. Sorry for my ignorance if I'm completely off base.
I was initially against this but then I read of IT guys getting abused as exempts. I think one should get 1.5x for OT. This forces management to plan and be accountable for overages (yeah right). This is a middle ground where you don't get OT but you don't get screwed for being exempt. I personally don't like it but it is a compromise for certain individuals.
but how many business related e-mails have been sent by his secretary/admin assistant. Also CEOs, in general, usually don't broadcast a lot of e-mails (if they do then something is wrong). Usually your frontline, leads and managers are the ones utilizing e-mail the most. I foresee a lot of 'miscommunications" in Bretons company's near future.
If you go the JAWS route there are different voice options under voice adjustment. The best I've seen used are the SAPI 5 voices. They have AUS, UK, and U.S.A english voices. Set the punctuation to read back "some" or "none", and adjust the rate of speech and you no longer have to listen to a robot or Stephen H.
Btw with all the rocks on the table I had a bigass midrange suckout for the few minutes I listened.

Sorry, I'm being a bit of a cad.

I'm having a hard time finding the website for BiOS Magic. Do you have a link?

Simple QA survey follow up calls can resolve this behaviour.
1. Was your issue resolved on your 1st call.
2. If not was your issue eventually resolved. How many calls did it take to resolve the issue.
3. Did you find the support staff knowledgeable? (ugh the horror stories). etc etc.
A few simple questions on follow up surveys will out the folks answering calls and getting the issue delayed and calling it fixed.
Those political calls are specifically exempt from the statute. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robocall#Political_calls

Reading divide by zero's post this is not a compromise this is a money grab. So much for optimism.
