What is needed is for jamming tech to evolve too, and banning all research, study, and thinking into it doesn't help.Places likes prisons, etc should be able to monitor communications inside their area and jam them. Prisons should be able to block cell phones in their own area. Why can't prisons have 6-12 stingray type devices with directional antenna's that automatically triangulate all signals inside? Guards could quickly track down contraband phones.
yet the FCC prevents people from even studying how that could work.
Actually the reason you don't have ideas to deal with it as it isn't a huge problem yet. People are last minute planners. So as it worsens more ideas will come forth.
Before doing something rash as basic income or other popular socialist idea. Something simpler can be done.
Lower taxes and simplify the regulations on business's with less than 20 employees and less than 10 million a year in income.
The trend and it has already started is smal local businesses are beating up chain stores in specific markets. Local produce, local meats, local clothes etc. the big chains are struggling, but mom and pop shops are springing up all over the place. Make it more profitable and easier to make them, and you can put people to work doing things that matter. Robots are good, but can't think and reason. So let robots do the mind numbing tasks. And let people work their strengths.
Bonus small busineesses come and go but they don't hurt and depress an area econimcally like when big companies do.

I was cooking dinner the other day and needed 598 divided by 5. my hands were a mess so hey, I haven't tried siri in a while let's try her.
it took 6 tries, for siri to reconigize my voice, and give me a result. the correct numbers and operators appeared on the screen of my iPhone 4 out of 6 of those times, but siri kept failing to find a result.
I don't have a tough accent, I don't stumble my words, yet when i speak voice recognition software falls (done on purpose) every time.

The government shouldn't have to dole out money the people, businesses should be willing to pay employees what they are worth. instead businesses will pay a small handful of employees a lot and the rest get a pittance. We are getting to a point though where businesses have stopped growing salaries of for the pittance(for 30+ years) but we have 30+ years of inflation taken it's toll. Right now to be lower middle class you should be earning $75k+ a year. not $50k.
That will only change with regulation and not by raising the bottom and taxing the top like so many democrats want. but by raising the middle. a Law along the lines of a CEO can only earn(including bonuses) 20 times the median income of their employees would do far more to bolster the economy than raising minimum wage. As to get a good raise the ceo's would have to raise lots of little salaries first. (I have't figured out if median or average would work out better)

Look at a group of friends make and female "watching a game". Most women are chatting or doing other thing during the actual game itself.

Personally I am waiting for every Mac to have a built in nfc reader and an OS api allowing purchases on websites, and app stores by swiping your phone over it. With tokenization it would safe and secure and push Apple Pay while being compatible with Google wallet 2.0. You could go further. Suddenly every Mac becomes a potential pos terminal.
Actually every decade we should kill off the top.01%. That by itself will keep the economy flowing as their cash will keep being moved instead of just sitting there.
So far the only preventive way to block windows 10 is install something even more hideous that is incompatible with windows 10.
Synmatec endpoint protection at work was blocking windows 10 updates. the version installed at work(15 I believe) was incompatible with windows 10 and treated the auto installs as viruses, that stopped the update.
Now I went around the desktops at work and force uninstalled Symatic endpoint to allow windows 10 to install, but only because we don't use them as desktops. We RDP into the server. So all windows 10 has to do for us on 95% of the desktop is run RDP. Even with that we get random issues with windows 10, using it's file sharing for updates during work hours to hog the bandwidth.
That is called capitalism. and it is why Canada, and the USA have a lot more money than other systems.
We spread resources around to those who can pay the most for them. It isn't the most efficient system but it is at least fair. In the sense that everyone is equal in who can do the buying. maybe not having the cash to buy, but that is another story.

Now I only use chrome when i want to update my android tablet, Hell if someone could give me either an android plugin to download iCloud/safari bookmarks to android, or chrome bookmarks to safari, I wouldn't need both installed. (every existing plugin runs your security through a third party website.

So your devices can get online all the time but new temporary 12-24 hour passwords are created daily for guests.
You are also forgetting the Microsoft is pushing office 2016 into the cloud. Governments can't store their work on microsofts servers.
I expect to see more and more of this as Microsoft pushes more and more cloud based control of their software.

Email calendar office 365 Windows 10 all tied to a single user login. All tied to the cloud. Governments militaries, even most business can't have any of their data exposed to the cloud that way.
My only "computer" is a 2009 MacBook. Haven't had a need to upgrade. I don't play a lot of games, and when I got it I maxed out the ram. Basically computers are good enough for most jobs. Now I am looking for a replacement as the battery is shot but even then I am not finding much I like. Don't care for Windows, and apples current laptops leave much to be desired. broadwell arch, missing ports( I need more than one port especially if power goes through it as well. I also use the sd card slot quite a bit. It is a quick way to transfer files.

The thing is current hel are 10 kilowatt and are the size of a car(often towed behind a Humvee)
To get to the mega joule requires a lot more fuel than a gallon of jet gas.
